• Very convenient location to most of the attractions that we wanted to visit.

“Rooms were very clean. Continental breakfast was excellent. Hotel staff was very helpful in giving directions. Overall a very pleasant stay.”

• Clean beautiful room and nice staff.
• Breakfast only served until 9 a.m.

“We loved it. Friendly staff and beautiful room. This is where we will always stay when visiting the Balck Hills.”

• Did not allow small dogs.

“Upon arrival we found out that our little dog was not welcome. We checked in and where carrying the dog in and was told that he was not allowed. They were very rude and not helpful in directing us to another hotel. I will never stay in another Holiday Inn Express if this is the way some one of my family is treated.”

• Loved the way the lobby was decorated, Rushmore picture behind swimming pool.
• Hot tub was not working.

“Really enjoyed the stay, hotel staff was very friendly. Feel good price for quality of hotel and staff was only down part. Hot tub was not working, other than this had a great stay.”

• The hotel staff were very service oriented and extremely accommodating.
• I have nothing negative to say.

“The hotel is located in an excellent location for visiting Mount Rushmore. The rooms are upscale and clean. Above all, the entire hotel staff were friendly, considerate, and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel when visiting Mount Rushmore and surrounding attractions.”

• Within walking distance of boardwalk, but far enough away to be quiet.
• Nothing to write about of note.

“Great place to stay if you are visiting the Black hills area. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast bar was good with a nice selection of food.”

• Beautiful hotel, very friendly staff, outstanding complimentary breakfast.
• The hairdryers tend to over heat quickly.

“We made a one week round trip vacation and the Holiday Inn express in keystone was by far the best regarding price/quality. The hotel lobby was very charming and the staff was very welcoming. Our children wanted to stay for ever.”

• Within walking distance to downtwon Keystone and close to Mt. Rushmore.
• The inconvenience of not having access to our room.

“This hotel is a great location for being close to Mt. Rushmore but there was not a lot of restuarants around. The hotel is crowded but has a good breakfast choice.”

• Staff friendliness was so-so and not well informed about local activities.
