• Comfy bed.
• Food in restaurant was too dry and very expensive breakfast. Also only one free mix drink ticket when 2 signed up for hotel. Kind of
  cheap feeling.

“Nice view, nice hotel. A fridge and microwave would have been nice. Good coffee in entrance area.”

• Wi-Fi, pool, and easy access.
• Breakfast was not complimentary like other hotels.

“Overall great hotel, have stayed before. Wi-Fi worked well, service was great, location of room could have been better, got a room right next to street with loud cars/trucks all night. Breakfast was not given as complimentary meal, which I was very disappointed with. Other hotels with an even less price for a room gave a complimentary breakfast, to guests.”

• Beautiful location.
• No free breakfast, tiny workout room.

“Hotel was comfortable and good. Did not like room given on first night, was a smoking room (smelled) and was on first floor (noise and light from street). We requested and were moved to a harbor view upper floor/non-smoking room for the next two nights was much better.”

• Pool was really warm and I love that.
• Didn't tell us kids eat free.

• Harbor view was fantastic!
• Parking may be an issue, especially with a van and trailer.

“Excellent hotel. The hotel had the most friendly and helpful staff of any hotel I have ever stayed with. The hotel is right on Lake Michigan with fantastic views from the rooms. The pool was warmer than most, and the restaurant had excellent food. A great place to vacation!”

• They had fresh cookies at the front desk and the pool was open until midnight.
• The rooms were dated and ordinary.

“This hotel was very easy to find. In the pictures this hotel looked like it was on the water over looking the lake. When we got there it was over looking a very small "lock" of the lake. The staff was friendly and helpful when we checked in. The hotel was dated and had not looked like they had done any updates since it was built. It was dark inside. The rooms were dated including the wallpaper, bedspread, and bathroom. The bathroom was very cramped for space and was an odd shape. The hallways were dark and gloomy. I would've been disappointed if I had paid any more than I did.”

• Nice location on Harbor, but construction in Harbor area ruined the ambiance
• Terrible first night, room was marginal on busy street; AC didn't work well; loud guests next door till early am.; moved us to a much better room.

“Hotel needs to be updated; value for the money is not there. Many rooms adjoin to a busy street - need to request a Harbor view room. Fitness facility very small with only a few pieces of exercise equipment. Hotel staff tries to be accommodating and cordial, but the Hotel is what it is. We didn't visit the restaurant in the Hotel - didn't look very attractive.”
