  • Location was outstanding.
  • House keeping wasn't the best.

“One of the rooms we were booked into had food crumbs on the floor when we got there, that were not cleaned up after the first night. Other than that, the stay was a good one. The beds were comfortable, which was a big plus. If you are looking for a decent place to rest your head in between adventures, this is a good choice.”

  • Food was good.
  • Guest service, security.

“Guest services manager not very helpful and if something wrong, good luck on getting it resolved. Not a very friendly staff. They have no care for business travelers try to get work done and a quite space request.”

  • Terrific rooms and bathroom.

“I would certainly go back to this hotel if I reserved a Go room again. They are very nice. The hotel is also very centrally located. We will definitely be back.”

  • They upgraded our room.
  • The wait at the check in desk.

“This hotel is dated but cheap. Beware of the check in line! It took us an hour.”

  • Location.
  • Reservation systems was down for hours. No check was allowed. followers by long lines.

“Aging property holding on to history and a good location. Everything about it including the staff looked tired and out dated.”

  • The prices at the restaurant/buffet were high considering what was offered in the menu.

“The rooms are comfortable but the food is too pricey for the items offered on the menu. In short, I recommend the hotel but you'd be better off eating elsewhere.”

  • The location is perfect walking distance to all places on the strip.
  • There was nothing to not really like.

“It was clean, neat and friendly.”

  • The garden area.
  • Slow check-in/smoky rooms.

“Heard good things about this hotel but when I arrived, it took almost an hour to check in, then we wanted a non-smoking room and the room smelled like smoke from years past, also the only real reason we wanted to go was for the pool and of course that closed at 5PM and since it took so long to check in we missed out on the pool. Other than that the speedy checkout from the TV was nice, but I would not choose this hotel again.”

  • Location on the Las Vegas strip.
  • The food was very basic American.

“The hotel is good shape for it's age. The staff was friendly and the pool area was very nice. The best place was Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville bar. Overall, it was good.”

  • Pool and view from room was excellent.
  • Pool water was a little dirty and simple food over priced.

“Very much liked our upgrade to the deluxe. Great view of Bellagio Fountains and the pool is awesome! Love the water slides and the convienance of a topless pool area, so you can get away from the guest with children. Location is key and I've stayed in Vegas a total of 8 times and this hotel
I will be staying at from now on!”

  • The location was fantastic and the casino never smelled of smoke.
  • The bathrooms in the rooms are very small.

“For being one of the oldest hotels on the central strip the Flamingo still has kept its charm. Although I would probably consider the hotel closer to being a 3 star rather than a 3.5, I still had a great experience. I was a bit disappointed in the size of the bathrooms within the rooms but I did enjoy the fact that the casino floor seemed very well ventilated and was pleasant smelling.”

  • Location.
  • Too many palm trees at pool area.

“Good location. Easy to get around property. Not as over whelming as some of the newer hotels.”

  • The lobby and gardens were exellent.
  • Our room was in need of remodeling.

“Good location.”

  • The location was perfect, in the middle of the strip with a lot of surrounding places to go.
  • Our walk from elevator was all the way around and our view was a bright neon pink light and parking structure.

“The location of the Flamingo is perfect for travelers wanting to explore. If you want to stay in your hotel at all times this is not the place to be. The history of Vegas may reside here but you're a little stuck in a bygone era that is in need of a little update and facelift.”

  • Location.
  • Sheets had holes, no soap in bathroom, breakfast selection at coffee shop very limited.

“Will not stay at the flamingo on my next trip to Las Vegas. Service and room condition used to be much better.”

  • Location.
  • Check in.

“I only stayed a few hours at this hotel so I can't say much about my experience except that the room was clean and decent. However, the check in experience was horrible. It was a Friday night, in Vegas, and there were 2-3 people working the desk, one that had at least 20 computers. It took forever to get checked it.”

  • Middle of the strip, great for just walking and not driving.
  • Hot tub was closed.

“It is in the middle and is perfect if you have a group that can't make up their mind till last second because everything is still and option. I went for new years so their pool was closed. Little disappointed that we weren't able to use the hot tub.”

  • Our room on the 27th floor was fabulous!
  • The snow kept us inside and I was worried about the flamingos!

“I would highly reccommend this hotel. I am 58 and was traveling with my 84 year old mom and she managed quite well. The size of the hotel was perfect for her, and she had a hard time believing that many of the other hotels were much bigger than that!”

  • Staff was friendly, restaurant food was excellent, buffet was ok, great location.
  • The smoke was unbearable.

“Overall, it was a great experience. When we come to vegas again next year, we will be staying at the flamingo.”
