  • Nothing.
  • Poor rooms and location.

“This hotel is long overdue for a serious makeover the rooms where dirty and dated, well worth spending the extra money for another hotel like the Venetian.”

“It's a nice hotel with good facilities, wish could have more restaurants and night clubs around in the walking distance.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[9] • Location:[9]

  • Great beds.
  • They should open both pools during the week, rather than just on the weekend; it was crowded!

“Beautiful facilities.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[2] • Location:[5]

  • Was a fun place, especially since its Vegas.
  • Staff was rude, room was not clean when checked in.

“I love Vegas and have every intention of returning there in the future. That being said, I will never stay at the Palms hotel ever again. The staff was extremely rude outside of a very few exceptions. I thought that I was staying at a nice hotel, yet I was clearly wrong. Very unimpressed.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[10] • Location:[8]

  • Staff was very friendly and helpful.
  • Off the strip, but not a big deal because of the bad congestion on Las Vegas blvd.

“I would recommend this hotel, the suite had a great view of the strip and the staff was very helpful in planning a surprise birthday. Great clubs.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[8] • Location:[5]

  • Comfortable beds, pretty rooms.

“We had to stay in Las Vegas because of a road trip, so we knew we'd need to deal with casinos and such. But the palms is over and above on the "oh my goodness" scale and we kept having to distract our kids from seeing things. Even the hotel TV wasn't safe because the opening menu had photos of strippers, so we had to have them cover their eyes until we could get to the regular channels.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[6]

  • Easy access was nice.
  • Wrong side of strip.

“Comfortable enough. Access to strip was not the best, due to high traffic. Parking was good, and secure.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • The hotel was far better than expected. Harvey blanc, the receptionist was great! This is the only hotel I want to stay in now.
  • There was nothing that I did not like.

“The palms casino resort was absolutely amazing. I have had problems with other hotels that were supposed to be of the same caliber (luxor, Excalibur) but this one came through. I have actually told several people already about my stay and have highly recommended the palms.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[10] • Location:[3]

  • The staff was great and friendly and upbeat.
  • This hotel is still under construction around the clock room was very noisy!

“The staff was great. The hotel was alright, a little too far from the Vegas strip considering the cold temps and high winds that plagued us. We did dine at "9" which was excellent, good food, atmosphere and again excellent staff! ”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[9] • Location:[9]

  • Great view--nonsmoking room.
  • Room $10 more than expected.

“Not as exciting as the Rio, but Rio is within walking distance. No blackjack tables for less than $10 minimum, so "high-rollers only" in the casino. The 24-7 restaurant is a good alternative to binging at the various buffets. Dinners were $10 and had good nutritional value. If it is too hot outside even for the pool, take in a movie at the first-rate Brendan MOVIE THEATRES which are inside the Palms. The seats are plush, reclining with infinite leg-room. The sound system is earth-shaking and distortion-free. The big screens are new and crystal-clear. $6.75 matinee price. Best entertainment value in Vegas! I know: Why go to Vegas to watch a movie? Just try it once.”
