• I liked the location and pool and the room.
• The breakfast could be upgraded but was ok.

“The hotel is situated right behind the Sunset Casino. The casino is a very nice hotel without the headache of the strip. The hotel had a nice pool shared with the Hampton Inn. Galleria mall is one block over on sunset Blvd. The hotel staff is friendly and accommodating. The hotel was quiet considering its family friendly. Not bad for business travelers. There are many food places available in he area with many 24 hours. The hotel was very clean. Considering they were under a remodeling process, all went well. Highly recommend this hotel.”

• Manager's reception, Tuesday -Thursday nights and pool.
• Construction, but staff was accommodating, noise level low.

• Large room, good service, nice extras.
• Cheap toilet paper, had bed.

“This hotel exceeded our expectations. They provided a microwave and mini-fridge which helped reduce food costs. To top it off, they offered complimentary snacks from 7-9 PM including tasty cookies.”

• The room was nice for an overnight stay, and the chair in the room was comfortable.
• The room was "blah" looking, and too many sweets at the breakfast bar (seemed to target children).

“Next time I stay in the Vegas area I will go to the strip. We rented the room for convenience to the same boy stadium, we thought it was closer. The room suited our needs for one night in town.”

• The hotel management and front desk staff are spectacular. Friendly, extremely helpful, genuine.
• No wireless Internet in rooms.

• They served cookies and milk from 7-9 p.m.
• They did not give me my wake up call until 4:45a.m when I specifically asked to be woken up at 4:00a.m.

• The staff was very helpful and friendly.
• Breakfast was cold.

“Unfortunately I reserved a room with 2 beds but upon arrival I was told I had a room with 1 king bed, there were 4 of us traveling together. The hotel said they would give a rollaway for free that still left someone on the floor. The hotel staff took a room from someone else who had not paid and gave us a kids suite, 1 king and bunk beds, which worked perfectly.”

• The bedding was very comfortable and the breakfast was good.
• Too far from the interstate.

“If you need a nice comfortable place to stop and rest in the Las Vegas area without all the distractions of the casinos, then any Holiday Inn Express in the Vegas area is a great choice.”

• No traffic noises, excellent breakfast.
• We had to keep asking for things that the cleaning staff forgot to put in the room.

“A good location, off the main part of the street. The best part is you do not hear other people, there was a baseball team staying there (teenagers) and we did not know it until they were getting ready to leave.”

• Parking is a problem, two hotels share one small lot.

“Very nice place to stay, complementary dinner for NASCAR weekend, great complementary breakfast, cookie hour, nice room, good internet. Parking was a problem, we were towing a boat and as they filled up that night they asked us to move to a back street. Pool was closed; it is also shared with the adjacent hotel.”

“This hotel was difficult to find but it was great once I got there. They had a barbeque for race fans the night after I checked out and still invited me to go to it, which I did. The staff was genuinely friendly, not phony or defensive, great experience overall and I would go there again in a heartbeat.”

“With all the clutter and closed-in feeling of staying on the Las Vegas strip, you need a place that's just removed enough to let you breathe, yet close enough to not make you feel as if you're in the next state. When traveling to Vegas again, I will consider this place.”

• They upgraded us to a kid suites room for free.
• Some of the breakfast items did not taste very good, especially the cheese omelet.

“I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. The room was very nice, comfortable beds, very clean, nice environment. I would definitely stay at another holiday inn express in a second. We were especially impressed by the kid suite room, a separate room to accommodate our children with bunk beds, separate TV, kitchen area. Overall, we were very, very happy with our stay and especially pleased with our deal.”
