  • Location and ambiance.
  • I checked in first just fine, they did not have my info when my partner arrived, he called my cell for room #.

“I've always wanted to stay here based on location and prestige.”

  • Cleanliness.
  • Parking was difficult and the lobby was upstairs; they charged us for the room when they shouldn't have.

“Very clean, comfortable bed and it was in a quaint area of PA.”

  • Top hotel in the Bethlehem area, it is good for business travelers as it is located right in the heart of city.
  • May not be a good choice for family, as the prices are way too high.

“Overall a good experience with staff and hotel. It is recommended for business travelers.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • The staff, location, and decor were all top-notch.
  • The rooms are a bit small, but one must keep in mind the age of the hotel.

“If you're in the mood for a relaxing stay in a quaint town, I couldn't recommend a better place. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive.”

  • The bathroom was nice. Marble floors and walls, chrome fixtures.
  • Room was smaller than I expected.

“The room was small. You could hear everything in the halls (walls were thin). It was not easy to find even though I had printed directions. Was hard to get back on the highway to come home, you could not just go back the way you came. I would probably stay here again, but not with my kids next time.”

  • Nice, elegant
  • Small rooms

“Nice ambience for the hotel but the room was small. Asked for cot which never came. But that was fine because there was no place to put it. Parking is not convenient, its behind the hotel.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • The beauty of the old, mixed with the convenience and technology of 2007.
  • Heat in the hallways.

“This is the nicest hotel I have stayed in. Cleanliness was amazing! The architecture, design of building and room layout was comfort at its best. I like the layout of the room and the ability to have a nice size work station, as well as sitting area with room to walk around. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were fantastic. I would rather stay in an older Hotel that offers these amenities, easy internet access and cleanliness then any of the chains. Truly a unique experience that I hope to repeat.”

  • Great food.
  • No control over room temperature.

“Gave me smallest room possible-no control over room temp-had to call to have someone open window-left it open all night to control room temperature-in the morning went to take a shower and there was a 'used rubber' in the bathroom-did not shower just got my stuff and left. Hotel housekeeping sent package at no charge to me housekeeping did apologize for my troubles.”

  • This hotel had elegant old-worth ambiance.
  • Our original room was very small with one semi-obstructed windows. We were move to a much better accommodation.

“It's been 9 years since we began visiting the Bethlehem area, as both of our children attended school there. The full service hotel Bethlehem offers a refreshing alternative to the motel-type properties that are generally available in the Allentown Bethlehem area.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[7] • Location:[10]

  • Location, attractive building.
  • Not updated, horribly small bathroom. soiled carpet.

“Lovely surroundings and the hotel is quite beautiful from the outside. However, it is hard to tell what style the lobby is supposed to be, shabby is the only thing that comes to mind. The rooms are VERY small. The room comes with an ironing board, but there is not enough room to use it. Bathrooms, AWFUL. No counter, just a small shelf under the mirror and a very small old sink that sticks out of the wall.”

“Historic Hotel Bethlehem, very nice. ”

  • The hotel is located in a beautiful area with fun shops.
  • On weekends, there are a lot of weddings, etc and attendees share the elevator to rooms. windows in room did not lock and there was access of root.

“I really enjoyed my stay. The windows did not close properly in the room which resulted in a rushing wind sound, very frozen tundra-like. I was able to push them shut a little but they didn't lock which made me a little nervous since my room was right off the roof and I wasn't sure how accessible the window could be. The maid must have aired room since sound occurred on subsequent days, too. I didn't complain because room was very nice as were the staff and the location of the hotel. Also, trying to board the elevator with an entire engagement party when trying to get to my room was a little annoying. Though I was not traveling on business, computer in business center was easily accessed for flight check-in, directions, etc... I would stay here again, possibly not on the weekend.”

  • Charming and good location.
  • Took moving 3 times to find a room that was adequate.

“I stayed here once before, chosen for the location. On this second stay, I had to move rooms three times, my first room was under construction, my second room was still occupied, and the third room has two doubles instead of a queen and the internet access did not work. The food is not that good. I brought my own this time and although I would not rule out staying here again, for my business trips, I will stay elsewhere.”

  • Charming 1920's era hotel.
  • Parking in back of hotel, entrance in front.

“This hotel is elegant. Built in the 1920's, it retains it's original charm. Stunning architectural details to that era, but with modern amenities. Romantic to say the least. Our room was bright and cheery and the bedding, throw pillows and drapes were taste
