Located in the heart of Big Sky, Montana, The Mountain Inn includes free continental breakfast served each morning, a heated indoor swimming pool, four Jacuzzis - one of them indoors, exercise room, large guest suites with 11-foot ceilings, built-in dataports for hi-speed Internet access, microwave and minifridge in every room, and two spacious conference rooms. Furnishings are Mission-style to reflect the rustic, old Montana look and are embellished with paintings, sculptures, and photographs from local artists. Perhaps the hotels most compelling feature is the 1,500 square-foot, two-story high Great Room where guest can enjoy a breakfast of pastries, fruit, cereal, and juices, or a relaxing apres ski conversation with wine, cocktails, or coffee from the full-service lounge. Leather couches and easy chairs surround the natural stone fireplace, and the walls and ceilings have a rich, chestnut-stained alder wood paneling. Guests can walk to restaurants and shops at Mountain Village, or catch free shuttle buses to other dining facilities and points of interest in the region.[less]

Nice view if you like remote locations.
Calls coming in from the outside got an answering machine. Did not feel like a real hotel.

“This was a nightmare and their attitude made it worse. Tried to call 3 times the day of arrive.”

Location was beautiful.
Location was not convenient for quick traveling.

Views from the room were incredible.
No dining in the hotel.

“It was about 10 minutes of the main road, but the beautiful mountain views were worth it. The rooms were very nice.”

Great setting and perfect for me and my husband.
Not as many amenities as I would have liked for the money we spent.

“It was a gorgeous hotel and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The did have a breakfast bar in the morning but it was very minuscule, I would have thought it would be more for where we were at. There just wasn't a lot of extras for the location and money spent on the room. Over all we did love our choice and wouldn't change it. I would definitely recommend it.”
