“It wasn't clean, smelled terrible. Sticky carpet. Bathroom was nicer than the room itself. Old unclean walls. WiFi was good though.”

• The room was clean.
• The room did not have an iron or ironing board availble.

“Overall the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Opportunities for improvement - Each room should have an iron and ironing board, and the bathroom should have a hair dryer.”

• Just for a night. Not to stay my vacations there.
• Decently clean.

“The room was decently clean. The whole hotel does not look clean. Easy check-in at 5AM and they called at 11AM for us to check out (only 6 hours of stay).”

• Location was perfect close to everywhere we wanted to go.
• Nothing was fine stay.

• Close to the main road, but no on it.
• Stiff towels.

“The hotel was in a good location. Just off the main road (Hwy 501). The hotel is old, but in decent shape. Shows many years of wear and tear. The hallways were muggy almost mildewed. Only ice machine that worked is on the 5th floor, but there was an elevator. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was decent, plenty of pillows (7 to be exact). Bed sheets and comforter were old. The towels on the other hand. Stiff as a board and felt like sandpaper. Could use lots and fabric softener.”

• We loved the lobby. It had video games and best of all, a pool table which my husband and I love to play.
• They gave us a smoking room, which was great, but there was no way to vent the smoke. No ceiling fan or window that opened.

“The front desk staff was very friendly, the room was what we expected except for no ceiling fan or opening window, smokers need that. Location was perfect. Wonderful game room. Watch out for the night security guard though. He looks and talks like one of those German Officers and stands rigid, waiting to pounce if you go one minute past 11pm playing a game of pool.”

“It had a leaky faucet, the dead bolt never worked, the room was not clean, and the staff was not the usual friendly staff we were used to.”

• When I had a problem they fixed it.
• Too much construction on hotel & rude workers repairing 5th & 6th floor.

“I had a problem with an outside worker working on the hotel. I was on the 6th floor & they started drilling at 08:50 am. I went to the front desk they moved us and I was content.”

• It was nice to have a swimming pool for my little one to be able to get into.
• The room was dirty. There was no reason for it to be like that.

“I will not stay at this motel again. The room had dried hard candy under the bed and in the bathroom there was a cup wrapper on the floor and we hadn't even used any cups. The air conditioner quite working in the middle of the night. There is no reason for a room to be dirty if the housekeeping is doing their job correctly. I used to be a head housekeeper and I know what is expected of the staff and if they are not doing their job correctly then something needs to be done about it.”

“Our TV in our room was broken, the lock on the door was broken. Mold was present around the base of the walls. The continental breakfast was a few muffins & juice. While at breakfast I spoke with another hotel guest who said they had roaches in their bed. Our beds did not have bugs but the sheets had numerous holes.”

“Horrible. When we checked into our room, although the air conditioner was on, it was so damp the bed sheets were damp. The front desk did give me new sheets, but we had to change the bed ourselves. The place needs a total remodeling.”

• Drug and hoar haven.

“If I were you I would find a different hotel to stay in, for this one is nothing but a drug and hoar haven!!

I have found hypodermic needles. I have found the arm bands that they tie their arm up with in the ladies public restroom, and I have found both these things in the lobby area lying on top of the travel guides!

This is not an exaggeration by any means. I have seen all this over a period of 2 years for I work here and it is the worst hotel that I have ever worked in for this reason!

They have lots of women come in get a room, do their business and leave!

Again "hoar haven".

The staff is friendly, but if you want a clean, safe place to sleep at night, I would suggest you really look to go somewhere else.”
