• Convenient to place of conference and nearby restaurant.
• No screen on windows.

“All in all it was conveniently located for where I needed to be; maid service was good; check in clerk was not so welcoming and rather curt when I asked about a military discount.”

• Convince to attractions.
• Would have liked having a dining room.

“We had a wonderful time. Will return and stay at this hotel again. Very easy to get everywhere we wanted to go, in a quiet atmosphere.”

• Breakfast was good.
• Room was very unclean. Mold in bathroom and bedroom area. Bad smell through out the hotel.

“Bad smell in lobby and the hall ways. Room had mold in bathroom and on the phone. Bathroom had urine stains on the floor. Stains on the walls, looked like mold. I have very bad allergies and had to check out of the hotel 1 day early. Would not recommend this hotel.”

• Samantha, the 2nd shift worker was a positive to this hotel and the food was good.
• Stunk of cigarette smoke in 1st floor hall, filthy carpets, unkempt bathroom.

“I will never stay there again or recommend to anyone. The 1st floor back entry hall smelled of cigarette smoke, the carpet was filthy, the bathroom was unkempt, i.e., grout was black with dirt and fixtures were rusted over, not to mention the toilet stopped up and over flowed. Coffee maker should not be in bathroom. The linen was upgraded that was good but if you upgrade you should have also been mattress pads as well. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Breakfast attendants rushed everyone out of the dining area. Breakfast ended at 1030 and 930, if guests come in at 1000 or 900 you don't stop putting out food because youre ready to go home. That' s just what one woman did. She also announced to everyone that she was closing up and if we wanted anything we should hurry up and get it. That's POOR customer service. My family and I will NEVER stay at your hotel again. I think this place gives Holiday Inn a bad name.”

• How nice the staff was even though I arrived early.
• I have nothing bad to say about the hotel.

“The hotel is in a great location just outside of the city away from the traffic. The staff was great and the room was very neat and clean.”

• The motel was close to many attractions and easy access.
• The hallways smelled like smoke though the room did not.

“Overall the Holiday Inn Express was a fine place to stay. Not top of the line but comfortable and clean. The bed and pillows were comfy. The place was easy to find and traveling to downtown was a just short drive away. It seemed that the rooms had been remodeled partially. The breakfast was good and there was plenty of parking. The pool and fitness room looked nice though I did not use it.”

• The convenience to everything, cleanliness, friendly staffs my bed and pillows.
• There was nothing I disliked!

“This was my second stay here at the north Charleston holiday inn express. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when I go to Charleston. I have stayed downtown Charleston at the mills house and Charleston place but I will stay here in north Charleston from now on. The others were great but the convenience; peacefulness at the holiday inn can't be beat!”
