“Newer property on North I-35 in Round Rock, convenient to Southbound destinations (Austin, Dell, etc.) but to go north (several restaurants), one must go south 0.75 mile to cross under Freeway and circle back. The housekeeping staff was friendly, accommodating (I work out of room a lot), and noticeably good with children in dining room. Wi-Fi was not working in my room, but desk staff cheerfully gave me a cable to access the net (free). Great business hotel.”

“This is a relatively new and clean hotel, a locally owned and operated franchise. Friendly staff. We got a basic room on the ground floor with two queen beds and a 24" TV. 4 large towels of ok quality per 2 person room. Clean bathroom, hot water with good pressure. Inefficient window air conditioning unit. Nice breakfast room with wide screen TV. Coffee was great, sausage and biscuits/gravy was good, and waffles were bad. There was also toast, muffins, cereal, etc. Did not use the pool. Across the courtyard there's a really nice Mexican restaurant that you can walk to. Over the weekend, expect families with kids. Good hotel for business travelers or families.”

“The only conscious part of my stay was the shower. The water temperature and pressure was much, much better than expected and remain same till the end of the shower. I like it hot.”

“Staff was rude. All I did was ask for a smoking room, which they said they didn't have, and then practically accused me of smoking in a non-smoking room before I even checked in. (no, I didn't.) Also the room wasn't cleaned well and there was a half empty bottle of water and 3 match books on the bed (of a non-smoking room) and hair all over the bathroom and tub. I wondered if maybe this room was already assigned and went to the dust to make sure explaining the bottle of water and matches on the bed, I was told 'it must be yours'. Good grief! Too bad, the rooms are nice and roomy but the yuk and rudeness can't be forgotten.”

“I would recommend staying here to anyone coming to Austin as long as they have a vehicle for transportation. The hotel and room was extremely clean which to me is top of the list for good comfort level. The bathroom was roomy and comes with coffee maker and hair-dryer. The hotel is quiet and friendly and the lobby and breakfast room was homey.”

“This is a terrible hotel with rude staff with an unwillingness to address significant problems that were identified. I will never stay at one of these hotels again and will tell everyone I meet what a bad experience I had in this hotel.”

“The hotel was conveniently located. The staff was friendly and professional. The breakfasts were the best continental breakfasts I've ever encountered in a hotel. The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was modern and clean. All in all, a very fine choice for our trip.”

“I was impressed with the hotel, but the staff was very unfriendly and unwilling to help. I needed a suite with a refrigerator (for baby bottles) but when I got there was told that it would be $35.00 more for a suite with a refrigerator. I missed check out by 30 minutes because of traffic and construction in the area and the person at the desk was upset with me. I did not see a rush of people there waiting for the room and the cleaning people were in the room working even with the stuff in the room. I will never stay here again because of being treated like rude for being 30 min late.”

“Country Inn & Suites - Round rock, TX: Recently Booked a wedding block and found that prices were actually about $40 and higher by booking through the wedding party than they would have been had we booked through the internet. This travel guide lists $52.00, whereas we paid $89 a night and upward. Also they, charged me an additional $150.00 for not having 30 rooms occupied although the cut off was a month before the wedding date. The sales staff lost a lot of reservations, and were rude to some of the guests. Our friends/guests were not happy. We also had some issues with losing power and not having A/C.”
