• Service/breakfast buffet included/clean/location.
• Workout room was sparse & few machines were old.

“I would go back. Great experience for what it was. Friendly and accommodating staff. My only negative was the workout room. Four pieces of cardio equipment and old.”

• Dedicated staff well appointed rooms & good pool.
• Breakfast food good but facilities small for crowd.

• Very clean, in good repair and felt safe.
• Our bed was a bit lumpy and sagged to the middle.

“It was a nice motel for 1 or 2 nights. Very clean and friendly. It's only bad point is it was hard to get to from the highway. Once we figured out that everyone in NC does u-turns we were in pretty good shape.”

• Friendly staff, clean rooms, frees cookies.
• Hard to get to needs a sign where you have to turn.

“I would recommend it highly for everything but how hard it is to get to the first time.”

• It was very clean and everyone was very friendly.
• I would have liked our room to have 2 beds. Traveling with older daughter and slept in same bed.

“The hotel was excellent. Everyone was very friendly. There was a great spread for breakfast and it was available as of early morning. The only thing that would have been nice would have been 2 beds in the room.”

• Pet friendly - that's wonderful.
• Did not get gold point awards for staying.

“Didn't get my gold points Will not use again for that reason. BUT I do love that they are pet friendly. It is the only reason I would use them again if needed.”

• Very clean. Very nice hotel staff.
• Hard to get to. Needs better sign age to direct you where to turn.

“The hotel was very clean and quiet. The hotel staff was exceptional polite and helpful. The rooms are very large when compared to other hotels in the area.”

• Doreen and Robert were extremely nice and helpful!
• Guests walking pets through the lobby when told not to.

“Doreen, Patty and Robert were great! :) I can't get enough nice things to say about them. The hotel was somewhat difficult to get to the first time, but Doreen stayed on the phone and directed me to the hotel. Breakfast was wonderful! My son truly enjoyed himself in the pool and the fresh baked cookies every night. If we are ever in Matthews again, we will stay here!”

• Very friendly staff. Room very clean. Breakfast is included in price.
• The bed was only moderately comfortable, walls are fairly thin, pillows are paper thin

“The staff was very nice, as was the continental breakfast. Everything was very clean. Bring your own pillow from home, though. The thinness of the pillows kept me from sleeping well.”
