• Clean, next to new looking rooms.
• Pretty much everything else is not up to par in my opinion.

“I tend to think hotel stays are as easy as 1, 2, and 3! Check in - check out - end of story. Not in this case. Room - which seemed clean and newest - about the only good thing about the visit. Problems with the hotel: staff would prefer to hang out in a back room rather than come to the front desk, party central (their banquet room parties don't help the matter), loud noises and banging from adjacent rooms, strangers knocking on our door twice that evening, semi-trucks at adjacent businesses noisily idling all night long, overcrowded pool area, green swimming pool, limited selections at breakfast, and best of all. They charged me for a missing pillow. We did not take a used, snored on, drooled on HI Express pillow. Since I drive by the hotel often, I stopped by to discuss the charge with the manager. She was rude if not hostile. The manager said I signed an agreement upon check in that I am responsible for any missing items. So if you still want to stay at this establishment, I recommend you having them survey your room upon checkout. You are guilty of anything they supposedly find missing or of any room number type-o when documenting missing items. Very poor service! Will not return to this HI Express. There are many other hotel options off interstate in Watertown, SD.”

• Quiet, roomy, clean, nice amenities, good breakfast bar.
• Nothing.
