• The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly.
• The bathrooms could have been cleaner, hair from person before on floor.

“All in all I would stay at this hotel again. The price was definitely affordable and I will be visiting Salisbury, Maryland more often as my son & his family is there. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends.”

• No elevators! No fire sprinklers!

“I did not enjoy this hotel stay. It was good only in the sense that it was located in Salisbury and was the cheapest hotel in town. For starters, there is not elevator. Having to lug my suitcase up 3 flights of stairs was not pleasant. Additionally the hotel was not equipped with fire protection sprinklers. In the year 2008, especially when there is a drop ceiling in the hallway, one would expect, if not demand sprinklers in a hotel. I will not stay here again.”

• Large selection of cable stations, a mini fridge, and fairly roomy.
• Missing do not disturb sign.

“The location and room were deceit but when we wanted to extend our stay for a third night the price was a shock. The second night there we were locked out of our room and the attendant was outside smoking a cigarette out of sight from our view, leaving us standing inside for over 20 minutes waiting before we figured out where she was.”

• Staff not friendly, small breakfast.

“Stay of this hotel was good. The lady at the front desk not very friendly. Seemed to be bothered by us or at least seemed like it. Breakfast very small compared to others that I have been treated to. Also in a bad location to have it. Room and hotel nice shape and clean. Restaurants close. Overall stay not bad. I'd hire a new front desk lady or get her another job at the hotel.”

• Clean. Super star breakfast, comfortable beds.
• A little bit of a Smokey smell on a non smoking floor.

“Good hotel stay for the money. We got a fair price and the room and bathroom was clean. The beds we comfortable and the service was good as well. The Super starter breakfast wasn't a lot, but it was sufficient. Our family would stay there again.”

“We enjoyed our hotel very much. The children would have like a pool, but that was the only problem. The hotel was clean, nice location, staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who is on a budget.”

“The hotel was in an okay spot and the staff was rude. Our room smelled like moldy wet bath towels, our fridge didn't work, only got 1/2 roll of toilet paper and 5 tissues in the tissue box. We also found 2 big black bugs in our room the night before we left. I would never stay here again and I wouldn't want anyone else to. I am sorry I ever wasted my money on it.”

• Not much.
• The receptionist was hostile, very bad.

“This receptionist did not have even the minimum of manners, and should not be in such a job. I was in the travel business for 10 years, and have traveled widely. This person has mental problems, and was rude, abrupt, and, again, hostile. We had never seen her before. There were unnecessary signs regarding the use of the ice machine. I will write a letter to the Super 8 President about this hotel.”
