“The staff was very helpful. We had booked a room with a double, and they couldn't find one. So they just gave us a king, which was great.”

“The lobby is nice. The rooms need attention and updating. Being in a smoking room was absolutely disgusting and ruined everything. I had trouble breathing all night and all of our clothes smelled like smoke when we left. Deodorizing the room meant spraying it with about 4 squirts of Lysol.”

“Nice hotel. If they had honored our non-smoking room request, would have had no complaints.”

“The Radisson was great in all respects. Service, comfort and price were all beyond expectations. The aquariums in the lobby were especially nice.”

“Linens updated but everything else is old. No on demand movies, old small TV, no refrigerator or microwave in room. Front desk staff was not very friendly but valet staff was very helpful.”

“I would not recommend that people stay at the Radisson in downtown Austin. It smelled like stale cigarettes and sewer water, was dirty and the staff were rude and unhelpful.”

“Great place, convenient with friendly, knowledgeable staff that went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and offered suggestions for restaurants that might appeal to a business traveler.”

“The hotel was very clean. The staff was very helpful. Close to everything and great location. Would definitely stay here again. My only complaint was the bar not being open past 10 pm.”

“This was an excellent hotel - the staff was friendly and the accommodations were excellent. It was within walking distance to everything in Austin. The view over Town Lake was beautiful.”

“I stayed on the 9th floor. It has the worst decor I have ever seen for a hotel of this star level/ price range. It was seriously out dated; looking like someone's grandma decorated the place back in 1985. However the lobby was stylish, which makes me wonder if they are redecorating and just haven't reached the 9th floor. The sleep number bed did not work and was rather uncomfortable as it had two different sleep levels stuck in place on each side. The WiFi almost never worked and there was no Ethernet cable as an alternative. The only thing to do was wait on hold forever with their tech support services, which were really annoying because you had to give all this information, such as the address of the hotel and what not before they will transfer you to someone who can help. There was no soap or floor towel when I arrived and maid service was slow to arrive to fix the problem. The maids had no walkie talkie to communicate with front desk so front desk would call me to ask if the maids had been there. They actually called me twice and maids came by my door twice in the same day, despite the fact that I had my privacy door hanger. Nobody ever offered to help with my bags at any time. Also, the TV was smaller and more out of date than what you would expect at a motel 6.”

“When I went down, they gave me a guest parking pass and charged extra. I have a list of other complaints (room was freezing, ice machine didn't work, soda machine didn't work), but this was the one that crossed the line. Do not stay here. Service is horrible.”

“It was very nice. The lobby area and entrance were very up to date. The staff was excellent. The rooms could use a little remodeling and be updated. I had a good experience and the location was excellent.”

“Overall it was a good experience and the staff at the Radisson was friendly and helpful. Loved the location but didn't at all care for paying $15 a day for hotel parking or $9.95 per day for high-speed internet. Those costs should have been built into the room charge.”

“A nice hotel, but very reasonably nice, so you get a lot of young people partying until all hours of the morning.”

“It's a great hotel for the location and I really enjoyed my stay. Nice rooms, comfy beds. The crazy thing about the hotel is they charge you $15 a night for parking. I know that it's a downtown location and all, but if you are a guest of the hotel that should either be included in the price or it should be free! If you don't mind the charge, it's definitely worth it.”
