• The staff was really nice, especially the older lady that fix breakfast everyday. She goes out of her way to help you.
• I was worried about the safety of the hotel, because I did not see cameras anywhere, but the rear door entry did not lock, so I notified the staff.

“I liked the hotel, but I think the thing that frightened me the most was the safety of the hotel. The back door was unlocked, and anyone could come and go as they please throughout the day without using their key. However, there's a signed post key entry only, but it was a false statement. I don't know how long it was broke, but it was repaired in about three days. I refused to go workout in the fitness room that needed much help. It's too much crime going on, for that to left opened 24hrs a day. Also this hotel do not have a elevator. Also the lamps, and tables needed a little dusting. However the kindness of the staff made-up for that.”

• The hot breakfast was very good.
• Ice machine was broken on the first floor.

“Overall, I was very pleased. We were assigned a room on the second floor and I told the clerk my wife handicapped and we were given a room of the first floor near an entry door. Very co-operative staff.”

• The people servicing the breakfast area were very friendly.
• None of the public spaces were air conditioned; the hotel had a bad odor (mildew, etc), the front desk people seemed confused.

“This wasn't a great hotel; it wasn't terrible either. It was worse than I expected for a Holiday Inn Express however. As I mentioned, there was no AC in public areas and the hallways/stairwells had a horrible odor. Our room was clean but there was little to no ventilation so it was frequently hot as well. The ice from the ice machine had dirt in it.”
