• Great Area.
• No hot water for two hours.

“The hotel is located in the heart of Carson city, centrally located between casinos and shopping/dining areas. The rooms were clean, but the lack of hot water during this stay was a bit upsetting. Having to wait for hot water to restore is a bit much to ask of any paying customer. Overall the hotel in clean and is great for the business traveler, and not bad for couples.”

• Very friendly personnel, beautiful lobby and rooms, wine and snacks at night and continental breakfast.
• We were not unhappy with anything this time.

“We did not know what to expect as it is right on the main street in Carson City. However, it was quiet at night. We have stayed in some real nice motels and this was right up there. Clean, everything you need is in the room. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee, shampoo, lotion, iron, hair dryer ...it was very pleasant”

• The friendliness, warmth, and flexibility receiving the afternoon wine when we arrived a little late.
• There was nothing I did not like. Everything was perfect.

“We were greeted with a friendly face, even after the desk clerk had to deal with a difficult couple just before us. As I watched the couple give the desk clerk a hard time about rates, the clerk maintained composer and dealt with the situation to the conclusion of their check-in with ease and patience. The ambiance of the lobby takes you back to a romantic period of time. We ate our continental breakfast and enjoyed conversation with other guests, while relaxing and catching the morning news on the television. The cleanliness of our room far surpassed many other motels I have frequented The location is convenient to downtown and the casinos in the City of Carson, Nevada. I will most definitely stay here again on my travels North. Thanks for having the Hartman House as one of your selections to choose from. Great experience.”

• The staff were very friendly and helpful.
• The shower had dust around the top of the tile and the door needed painting in bath.

“Good for a short stay. Clean and friendly. Nice breakfast.”
