• Clean and comfortable.
• Poor parking for large vehicles.

“A pleasant surprise. Very comfortable and clean. Rooms were much more comfortable and tasteful than we expected. We were trying to be frugal in travel and this was much more than we anticipated.”

• The bed and pillows were very comfy!
• The location was not very convenient.

“The hotel was clean, and the rooms were satisfactory (beds were very comfortable!). The continental breakfast was decent. The hotel clerk was not very nice at first; in fact she was a bit rude. I had a hard time finding the hotel because it was so far out of town and I would have switched my room to a different holiday inn express.”

• Very friendly staff (maids & front desk), nice breakfast & breakfast room, free USA Today, easy parking.
• Slow elevator.

“Quiet, comfortable room. Nice blankets, sheets, pillows, shower, etc.. Would definitely recommend this hotel.”

• Clean, cheep.
• Staff was not very friendly when I asked for an early check-in.

“Everything was fine, except the staff provided a snippy answer when I asked for an early check-in. It is not as though I expect to be able to check-in whenever I want, but I do expect that they would at least 1) see if a room was ready, or 2) be a little nicer about denying my request. Other than that (and no ESPN in the rooms) the stay was fine and the rooms are clean.”

• It was very clean, nice staff.
• They had the wrong credit card on my bill, I don't have a card for the type they had down.

“The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were good sized. The beds were very comfortable and very clean. The rooms were quiet. There were lots of resources for travelers and it was in a great easy to reach location. I felt safe and did not feel I had to worry about my car or belongings during the stay.”

• The room was nice and roomy.
• Location was not the University District, as requested. We had to rent a car too, and would rather have just paid more for a convenient location.

• The location is easy to find with quick access to I5 and Hwy 99.
• The in-room movie ordering system is a little complicated and I wouldn't recommend using this feature

“Considering I've lived in Seattle the ease of this location suited me just fine. I don't need the "downtown experience". I just wanted a clean place to stay that was close to where I wanted to go and the people I wanted to see and Holiday Inn Express met my needs and then some. I would recommend this hotel to people that are looking for a nice room.”

• The location was good for my needs.
• Something was taken from my room and there was NO follow up by the inn.

“The inn was typical for establishments of this type. Neither good nor bad. A six pack of beer was taken from our room. When I reported this and a report was taken but, I have not been notified in any way. Since I was leaving early the next day I can only assume that they felt that there was no need to follow up with me. Needless to say, I will not stay at this establishment again. Even though it was just a six pack of beer, I can't be assured that the next time it won't be something of greater value. In other words, I can't trust this hotel to keep my belongings safe.”

• Continental breakfast was good and offered variety.
• Trash piled up next to trash container in the front of the hotel.

“Cannot beat the price for a nice hotel. Convenient to downtown attractions.”

• This hotel provides the right amount of towels in our room, so we don't have to ask for extra. Nice towels, too!
• The carpet in our room seemed to be loose, and it buckled in numerous places.

“This hotel is in a good location -- convenient for where we needed to be. We ended up changing part of our plans for the next day and slept in a bit, which was very nice for us! Again, the new towels are really quite nice.”

• The hotel is clean and has a pool and hot tub.
• The location is on Aurora Avenue North, which is not a pretty part of Seattle.

“The hotel is clean and well maintained. The rooms are comfortable, and the staff is courteous. The hotel has an indoor pool and hot tub, and a small exercise room. The hotel also has a good continental breakfast. The location is on Aurora Avenue North, about five miles north of downtown Seattle, and is not a particularly attractive area but it does have many fast food restaurants. A good choice for families or budget travelers.”

• Clean very nice rooms, friendly staff and free continental breakfast. Pool was clean.
• No access to restrooms/changing rooms from pool without going back out into hallway.

“My husband and I stayed two nights with 5 young children. Our room was spotless and "homey". The staff was friendly and very accommodating to our needs.”
