• I loved the two adjoining rooms. It was well worth paying a little more.
• Was hoping to see a little more of a common area for relaxing outside the room.

“Having the two rooms was a little more pricey but well worth it. Would have been nice to have a restaurant in the hotel but not a problem with such a wide selection within a 5 minutes drive.”

• Desk fridge coffee maker//lobby.
• No indoor pool, no pay per view movies and limited cable channels.

“ Big rooms, very clean, friendly and helpful staff at front desk. Mattresses were comfortable. Free parking, easy on to I-81, safe area, near restaurants and shopping. ”

• The breakfast buffet was pretty good.
• We had to go to the lobby to get a connection.

“This hotel had a nice suite, very good for families with small children. The breakfast buffet had a decent mix of choices and had hot items as well as fruit. The biggest problem I had was the lack of in-room WiFi and the total inability of the staff to address the problem. The bathroom could use some remodeling too but it wasn't in terrible shape, just run-down looking.”

• Hot breakfast was excellent. Room was a good size.
• Overall there was less traffic but at first had to make U-turn to get started in the right direction to travel to Hershey Park.

“Great breakfast and friendly staff. Good location to Hershey Park with less traffic problems. Quiet room even though we were in a heavily visited part of the hotel.”

• Rooms were spacious and clean.
• Lack of staff members.

“One lady running the front desk, she was very pleasant even though people we yelling at her for the rooms not being ready, people calling on the phone lost yelling at her. The rooms weren't ready when people were checking in, line up to check in (1/2 hr wait), no towels at the pool. There was one other staff member trying to get the rooms clean. The lack of staff and the long waits were making people very angry, especially with small children. There were ants in the room and no coffee or towels were left the next day. Most for this could have been avoided with proper staffing.”

• Staff was extremely friendly, pool was excellent, rooms were clean and spacious.
• No dislikes.

• Clean, spacious room, breakfast selection, size of TV.
• No elevator, untrained front desk people.

“Hotel was easy to find. Clean through out. The stair case was beautiful in the lobby, too bad it was the only way to get to the 2nd floor. Seeing that one of our party, we requested 2 rooms, has asthma we had to try to get them a room on the 1st floor. They were able to accommodate us though it took some time. The rest of our stay was great: room, breakfast was wonderful. Highly recommend it.”

• Clean, pool, convenient and cheap. Close to Hershey.
• Loud and allowed pets.

• Indifferent manager, fireworks at 12:00 AM in parking lot.

“Hotel will meet expectations if traveling on a budget; clean enough and close to Hershey Park. Good for quick in and outs, and sleep.”

• The daily free breakfast was wonderful-good assortment of items to choose from.
• The people in the room next door were loud and inconsiderate of others.

“The Holiday Inn was centrally located in proximity to Hershey Park, restaurants and shopping plazas. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was good, and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was easy to reach, right off the Interstate.”

• Convenient to Hershepark, dining, entertainment etc.
• No elevator.

“The rooms were quite spacious. There was a microwave, refrigerator and two sinks. Access to all major highways was a short ride from hotel. Only drawback is in bad weather there was nothing to do at the hotel (no game room, no indoor pool).”

• The room was large.
• I never saw an elevator in the lobby. Breakfast area had no A/C on. Very hot. TV did not work in room.

“The hotel was easy access from the highway. Hotel parking lot on the side was very dark. In lobby I never saw an elevator just stairs. The breakfast room was very hot, as if they had no A/C on. The breakfast selection was good. When I turned the TV on in my room, it did not work. We realized that it had been unplugged from the wall socket. When we went to turn off TV the remote would not turn it off. We attempted to turn it off manually from the front that did not work either. I had to unplug the TV, when it was still on, to turn it off. Needless to say, there was an inconvenience while in bed. I'm not sure if the person before me informed the front desk or not, or if they (front desk) just ignored the fact that the TV did not work. I doubt seriously if I would stay at this hotel again.”

• I liked the fact that it was close to Hershey park without having to pay a high price to stay.
• It was not handicap accessible/no elevators. and small parking spaces.

“Overall it was a good hotel. The staff was nice and they offered good directions to Hershey park. The only thing I did not like was there were no elevators, we arrived to be put in a room upstairs and my mother in law has trouble with stairs so that concerned me, but the staff did switch are room without any problems.”

• No outside benches for smokers.

“The hotel was very clean, outdoor pool was clean and refreshing, room wastebaskets should be larger especially for families that order food delivered. Hotel personnel were very nice and helpful, lots of tables and plenty of choices for their continental breakfast which was outstanding.”
