• Housekeeping staff was the best!
• Not worth the money I spent.

“My refrigerator was noisy so I told the front desk. A young lady came to check it out and after debating with me for a few seconds about the level of noise, she finally decided to try to resolve the situation. She said we could switch the frig with a nearby room. I basically ended up moving them both myself and that frig was also noisy. I just left it alone.”

• Cleanliness.
• I was double charged for my rooms after offering to provide the receipt . I also had my bank statement.

“I will stay at other hotels in the future. Will not recommend this hotel to my friends who are mostly Nurses. My husband and I are both Nurses.”

• Staff was friendly.
• Staff was not trained properly and hotel was very poorly maintained.

“The staff was friendly but that's it for the good news. The room was in poor condition. The sofa bed was broken and completely useless. The front desk staff was nice but insufficiently trained and understaffed. I would
not stay here again.”

• Convenient to stores, restaurants and sites.
• The bed was so uncomfortable! Our backs ached, woke up every hour. Smelled very stringly of smoke (cig).

• Very clean, friendly and accommodating staff, convenient to shops, and very proud and serviceable to Parris Island.

“I very much enjoyed my stay. I traveled with seven other family members in order to see my nephew graduate Parris Island. We were treated with respect and honor. Everything was very clean, updated, and very friendly staff. I highly recommend Country Inn and Suites in Beaufort, SC.

• The rooms were very clean.
• Too much road noise.

“Overall, the hotel has been well maintained. The room was clean but the bathroom shows some wear. The complimentary breakfast was barely basic with the fresh-made waffles being the highlight. The staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. This is a pleasant, clean and basic hotel.
”

• Convenient and clean and quiet.
• Beds were average but not too bad, closet next to front door and in open.

“Room was good, quiet and beds not too bad for comfort. For the star level I was very satisfied. It was very convenient to locations to visit in town as well and the staff at front desk was very helpful.”

“This hotel was not clean. It had a bad odor in the room. The carpeting had big spots on it -- especially in the hallways -- it was not good. The rating was mismarked on this hotel. It was not a 2.5 star hotel.”

• The location was good, and the hotel was clean.
• The breakfast was poor compared to other hotels in the area (like the Hampton).

“I thought the hotel was clean and adequate, but I don't know how it gets higher than a two star rating. The Hampton, where we frequently stay, has a better breakfast (more hot selections plus fresh fruit and yogurt) and extra amenities like freshly baked cookies, various kinds of coffee, tea, and fruit available around the clock - and it is rated as a 2 star hotel. I certainly wouldn't pay the normal price to stay at Country Inn and Suites - I would elect to stay at the Hampton instead.”

• It was convenient to the waterway and Downtown Beauport.
• The breakfast was weak.

“The hotel was very clean and very convenient to where we were fishing and close to Downtown Beaufort. We would definitely recommend it to other people. We will stay there again.”

• The location and the fact that pets are not allowed.
• I would like more items for the continental breakfast.

“This is a nice place to stay. I appreciate the cleanliness and the rooms are large with windows that you can open for fresh air. Our room was very quiet.”

• Convenient to Beaufort, SC. Elevator was out of order. They did upgrade the room.
• Could not regulate the heating and cooling. The thermostat was broken and the room was too warm.

“It's an ok place. We didn't realize we couldn't regulate the temperature until after midnight and it was too late to try to change rooms. Needless to say, we didn't sleep well. I'll make sure in the future at any hotel that I can regulate the temperature as soon as we check in the room.”

“The staff is extremely friendly. This is probably the first Hotel I've stayed in that the staff had made an effort to make eye contact each time a guest came by.”

• Rooms were clean and had a microwave and refrigerator.
• The compressor outside my window was very noisy.

“This good clean hotel which included a continental breakfast. It had a nice indoor pool and hot tub. Sound proofing and construction was a bit weak. The walls would vibrate when our neighbors would close their doors and a compressor which was located about twenty feet away from outside widow was very noisy.”

• Air conditioning did not work.

“We discovered the air conditioning did not work when getting ready to go to sleep and it was too late to contact maintenance for repairs as we were very tired from driving all day. I have e-mailed the hotel and requested a partial credit, but have not heard back from the hotel manager yet. Also, someone smoked in this room even though it was designed as "Non-Smoking".”

• The tub was clogged. Notified desk upon arrival. Came back in the evening and it was not fixed.

• This hotel is in the perfect spot for shopping food and even Wal-Mart is right down the street.
• The only thing that I did not like it was a little distance from the base but not to bad of a drive.

“This hotel was very nice. Better then what I expected. The hotel was very neat and clean. No problems. The girl at check in was nice. So no problems. I would stay here again with no doubt.”
