• The lady at the desk knew a lot about the area.
• The maid wanted to clean our room at 9:30am.

“Overall it was excellent. The maid knocked on our door at 9:30 AM to clean our room. When I said we weren't ready to leave (check-out is at 12) she showed me a piece of paper that had our room number on it, like that meant something to me! She did leave though. The room was very clean, as was the hotel. Vending and ice machines were convenient. There were a lot of places to choose from to eat locally and the mall was across the street. The breakfast selection was good, but we opted for a hot meal. I would definitely recommend to anyone. Didn't have time for the pool, but it looked nice!”

• Continental breakfast was excellent, room was clean.
• There was nothing I did not like.

• I liked everything they blew me away from time I entered door till I left.
• There was nothing I disliked.

“The rooms were well cared for, I felt like I slept in the clouds, the beds were comfortable but not too soft. As we arrived I was met by very cordial hostess who made my check in easy as possible. They had pre registered me so all I basically had to do was sign and go on to my room. They offered a guest appreciation buffet that was incredibly good. I will stay here in future.”

• Because of the beautiful scene in the lobby and rooms, this is a perfect romantic get away.
• There is nothing to dislike. The hotel and staff were wonderful.

“When I entered the Holiday Inn Express, I was in awe of the beauty of the lobby. It was well decorated. The environment was very comfortable and cozy. When I got into my room, I was so elated. The room was standard with a king size bed well made. The towels/face cloth/hand towels were very nice. I loved the sheets, the inside comforter, and throw. Very comfortable. The shower was awesome. The color scheme in the room was beautiful. If I had a companion with me, it would have been on. The staff was very friendly.”

• Good climate control.
• Need at least one comfortable chair and TV listing.

“Great hotel. We had suite on second floor which was a long trip from the front desk for my Handicapped wife but once in we could use the rear stairs OK. I would love to have had a real TV listing with channel numbers instead of just a list of what was covered without numbers? At least one easy chair would have also been nice. Otherwise this was a great hotel. Breakfast was particularly good and was kept clean and well supplied. Desk personnel were extremely helpful and pleasant. We were there to attend a grandson's high school graduation so the area was fairly crowded and the hotel was also hosting a Corvette club meeting. I would use it again if necessary, although we usually stay with my son in New Bern which is only several blocks away. Too many people visiting him this time.”

• The hotel was clean and the rooms were spacious.
• The parking area was congested.
