• The staff was friendly.
• The room was not at all attractive and seemed unmatched.

“The rooms in this hotel really show their age. The bathroom is tiny and didn't seem really clean, although it smelled strongly of bleach. The bathmat had been washed and folded so many times the middle of it was threadbare. The condenser in the fridge was noisy and cycled frequently. Little details, like burned out light bulbs and no conditioner or conditioning shampoo, were noticed. The remote on the TV (which could not be swiveled and thus limited the area from which it could be watched) had only volume, channel, mute and power buttons. The parking lot was uncomfortable, as there were people sitting in cars and cabs in the rear of the lot, with loud music coming from the cars. The staff was very friendly.”

• Very clean.
• Only one elevator and stairs on one end of hotel.

“This is an excellent hotel. The staff was polite and courteous. The hotel and rooms was clean and comfortable. I did not eat the continental breakfast offered but the set up was well organized and neat.”

• Friendly staff.
• The carpet in the halls were extremely dirty as well as my room.

“My biggest issue with my stay was finding crawling bugs under the sheets in both beds as well as the mold in the carpet. This location is in desperate need of a remodel.”

• Close to main roads and where we were traveling.
• Located off the main road. We needed directions.

• Helpful staff, great pillows, comfy beds, not smoky anywhere.
• I wish the windows opened, decor is dated.

“We were welcomed warmly. When the mini-frig didn't work in our first room, we were immediately moved to another room. When the second room smelled funny, I brought it to the attention of the front desk folks and they saw to it that the air-conditioning filter was cleaned and deodorized that morning. While the decor is a little dowdy and dated, we found the beds and pillows very comfortable and the breakfasts adequate. We appreciated no smoky smell anywhere inside the building. We wish that the windows could open!”

• They were nice rooms for the money, unlike others I've been and booked.
• No coffee after 10:30am.

• Location to McGhee / Tyson airport, friendly hotel staff.
• Biscuits and gravy served at breakfast were cold; need more fruit selections.

• A bit far from Oakridge labs where I was working.

“Very close to airport with convenient shuttle, microwave and fridge were useful. Pool and fitness room were in good shape and clean. Breakfast was healthy and more than I expected.”
