• Room was clean and nice.
• The Breakfast food was terrible and no hot coffee.

• It was conveniently located.

“It was clean and the staff tried to be helpful. The beds were reasonably comfortable and the room was quiet. The bathroom was decent-sized and clean.”

• Intelligent employees were on duty, I attribute this to its proximity to nearby colleges.
• Everything was ok.

“Room was in excellent shape, clean, and everything worked. Hotel is located conveniently to everything needed. Will stay at Microtel more often.”

• The desk attendants were friendly.
• Unresponsive General Manager.

“I made a reservation in August of 2006 for May 2007 to pick my first year college student up for the summer from Va. Tech. Due to the tragedy that incurred on April 16, I picked my child up early. I completely forgot about the reservation! That is until I received my credit card statement with a NO SHOW fee of $50+. I spoke with desk attendants hoping something could be done to waive the fee given the extenuating circumstances. I called the hotel three separate days within one week, and was assured the general manager would return my call. He never did! I will never stay at this hotel again, nor will I advise anyone else to do so. There was no reason for such unprofessional in management. Shame on you!”

• It is fair for the price , Continental breakfast and location.
• A/C and heating units are noisy.

“I reserved a regular suite and I was given a handicapped suite with no table or bath tub in the suite. I never made a request for a handicapped suite and none in my family is handicapped. ”
