• Descent location.
• Very outdated and minimal breakfast offerings, spotty internet.

“The location was nice, close to downtown and shops but the hotel itself is in desperate need of renovations. For the price it was not really worth it. The high speed internet was unreliable, and the amenities were lacking.”

• Hot tub, cleanliness of room, location, deco, friendly staff.
• No noise barriers, could hear live band on 3rd floor till 2am.

“This hotel was great location to great restaurants, museum, had live entertainment, clean rooms, clean smelling linens/towels, comfy bed, very friendly staff. Only slight problem is the noise. The doors aren't solid enough to block sound and could hear the live music up on the third floor, but staff mentions this upon your check in. The music wasn't loud enough to be a real problem unless you need absolute quiet to sleep. The staff was great about explaining the noise and extra friendly at check in and out. Prices at bar were very reasonable for drinks. Did offer a breakfast but we didn't get to it.”

• The location is great! Right in the middle of this small, beautiful Wisconsin lakeside town.
• The staff has a could care less attitude and the first floor club is audible on the fourth floor.

“When I arrived at this hotel, the clerk was on the phone with an upset customer. The clerk saw us and told the customer on the phone..."Can you call back in maybe 10 minutes, I am waiting on some customers that are checking in.".....and then he hung up.

I had driven 10 hours from KC and was in the area for the big EAA Airventure air show in Oshkosh. After the long drive, all I wanted to do was find a nice place to eat (which there were plenty within walking distance) and get some sleep. When I hit the pillow at 10, the thumping and booming from the club on the first floor began. This didn't stop until 2 in the morning. This continued the next night, even louder. My room was on the 4TH FLOOR!!! I don't think I should be hearing the baseline from the club in the basement, do you? After getting maybe 5 hours of sleep my entire 2 night stay, I was off on the road again for a 10 hour drive home.

I would say this is a two star hotel for one reason: The location. Without that, this is a no star hotel, and good luck with getting a clean room or clean sheets. I'll bet the club is great though.

I would recommend to the owners and operators of this JOKE to either run the hotel or the club, but not both.....or at least, reinforce the thin walls!!!!! THANKS FOR NOTHING!”
