• Nice live entertainment, bar and food available.
• The balcony was over noisy central
  AC blowers.

• Very friendly staff, great location good value.
• I saw a cockroach in the bathroom. In addition Newspaper was not delivered outside the room in the morning.

“This hotel provided great value for money and the staff in the hotel was extremely friendly and courteous.They also offered me a great deal through priceline which made it easy on our budget.”

• Close to the beach and attractions.
• They put us in a room looking at the back.

• Cleanliness, not everything in working order.

“The Radisson was not the cleanest. The staff was friendly and the location was great but the bathroom was not very clean. Also the sleep number bed is more like a giant air mattress and not very comfortable. The bed kept re setting itself to the firmest number. The safe was not functional in the room. The location of the hotel was probably the best thing it had going for it but we will not be staying here again.”

• Great location, clean sheets, friendly staff.
• Dirty bathroom, dirty carpet.

“This hotel has a great location. Close to the beach, the Lexington, the Aquarium, etc. The room was not that clean, the bathroom was pretty dirty. The sheets were clean but the rest left a lot to be desired for considering the Radisson used to be an upscale hotel. One restaurant within walking distance, the Capri restaurant is definitely a place to avoid. We went to eat there and after being given four sets of silver ware, walked out because they were all filthy, one even had a rusted knife wrapped in a napkin. The manager had a no care attitude when we told her why we were leaving. Guess they're used to people walking out. Went to the Landry Seafood house and it was awesome. Probably won't stay at this hotel again.”

• I enjoyed the location which was convenient to the beach.

“The staff was friendly and welcoming to new visitors and accommodated all requests. The lobby was fairly clean. The room was not as clean as I expected it to be.”

• Very friendly staff that went out of their way to accommodate!

“Very clean and friendly! They tried to accommodate our every need! Traveling with teenagers can be hard to find a room. But they made sure and saved two rooms next to each other for us. Needed a roll away when it became available they brought to our room! Even gave us extra towels, blankets and sheets and didn't have to ask! Staff was great with giving us GREAT places to eat for our every craving!”

• I like the location on the beach and close to the Uss Lexington. The front desk manager was great and very helpful.
• The bed was not comfortable, the cleaning of the room was poor and no continental breakfast available.

“I would not stay here again. Too many kids, there were birds swimming in the pool - thankfully we did not swim in the pool, just layed by it. Was not happy with the restaurant, cleanliness or staff.”

• Loved having refrigerator and microwave in room.
• Did not like the sleep number bed.

“Navigating through the intersection and finding the right place to turn into the parking lot was a bit awkward but overall the room was comfortable, nice, and clean; I would certainly stay there again.”

• Wonderful location, walking distance to many family-friendly restaurants and attractions. Right on the beach, too!
• The decor in the room was below what I expected.

“Great location - right on the beach, walking distance to many family-friendly restaurants on the side. Short drive to fancy places for classy dining. Walk down the beach to the Lexington and the Texas State Aquarium.”

• Pool too small, carpet/ceiling in need of repair.

“Although bed was comfortable, the sleep number function did not seem to work correctly. Every time we adjusted one side of the bed the other side would deflate/ not hold previous setting.”

• Clean rooms, very cold which I loved. Lots of space. Staff very prompt. Walking distance restaurants.
• Nothing negative to say.

“Very courteous staff no problem what so ever from the time I checked in to the time I checked out. Large roomy bathroom with shower. Microwave and coffee maker in the room. Also safe in the room for your belongings. Very convenient pool to spend time with my grand children. Large comfortable bed for grandkids and myself. Very convenient walking distance restaurants and sights to see. I felt safe and comfortable. Would be nice to have more parking. I did not want to leave at night due to parking lot full did not want to park out in the street. But other than that awesome hotel. Was concerned I would run into issues first time I traveled alone with family. Hotel made it very easy for me.”
