“Price was good, but conditions of the hotel were very run down. I would not stay there again.”

“Motels are often much of a much ness but even so I was slightly disappointed by this Howard Johnson. The dining area was also too small and was packed full of people, so we ended up having breakfast elsewhere. There was a swimming pool available, we didn't make use of it, but there were plenty of children in there having a good time. If you don't expect too much and just need a quick stopover venue, then you should be ok.”

“The pool was fantastic and the room was spacious and clean. The bathroom did have a little trouble with water pressure and a small section of pealing wallpaper, but for the most part was nice.”

“The hotel and room decor seemed tired. Our view of the room and subsequently the hotel is colored by the smell when entering the room. Either the last guests smoked (most likely) in which case they should not have used it as a non-smoking room or the room had been closed up and was stuffy. They hid the smell through a thick perfume that under other circumstances I would not have accepted had we not already paid for the room. We left the window open to allow fresh air circulation. It was advertised as a Howard Johhnson Hotel. We thought that would guarantee a standard coming from England and having used previous Johnson hotels. The hotel was privately owned and franchised. I would not presume a standard again. Price is important but we would have been happy to pay more for a quality standard that was lacking in the Howard Johnson hotel.”
