“The beds are hard. Amenities are few. TV had may be 10 channels that weren't hotel information. Housekeeping was very nice. Walls are very thin! Lobby/entrance is beautiful. Reasonably easy to get to.”

“I think that this hotel is rather high priced for what is available to you. They try to be up scale but don't have that much to offer. Coffee pot was poor quality and they did not have the continental breakfast that was advertised on the site.”

“This hotel is located just off the interstate which was easy to get to. One of the entrances is more or less a golf cart path with lots of bumps, needs a re-pave. We had an unfortunate accident with a little one and the elevator. Word of advice keeps your kids away from the doors when they open and close. I experimented with the doors after the accident (fingers of 2 yr old got caught between door and door frame when it opened). I'm not sure if this elevator would fail inspection or not, it did have a current inspection certificate though. Upon exit on our floor I would hold the outside door, and the inside door would still close (exposing the inner parts of the elevator). I'm not a elevator inspector, but common sense would say that should not happen. So beware of the elevator. The staff was alerted to the malfunction of the elevator, which they seemed to ignore because it operated the same every time. The rooms were a little old and seemed to be musty. The bathroom had some water damage and the bathtub was cracked on the bottom. The crack wasn't dangerous, but more annoying than anything because it's where you stand while bathing. The rooms were clean for the most part. The front desk staff seemed to be in the back room or away from the desk most of the time. Most times we walked through the front doors (that need repairs/updates) nobody would be at the front desk to greet us.”

“This hotel was acceptable, but it's obvious the place is in decline. The biggest frustration was on the evening of July 4th, when the hotel parking lot was overrun by people and cars. (These folks began gathering in mid-afternoon to get choice spots for an after-dark fireworks display.) The hotel failed to remove non-paying guests and their vehicles from the parking lot, so when paying guests (us) returned to the hotel around 9 p.m., we could barely edge our way onto the packed parking lot, and there were no available parking places! We ended up parking (unlawfully) in a red zone. Furthermore, this could have been a serious safety issue as emergency personnel (fire trucks, police, etc.) would have had similar difficulty getting onto the parking lot and into the hotel as we did.”

“Overall, a fair hotel but not any nicer than your average motel. The rooms are an odd mix of new (e.g., granite countertops) and dated features (e.g., 15 years old wallpaper). No one in our group (five rooms) seemed to have an A/C unit that worked flawlessly. Some were noisy or smelly. Ours cooled fine but left the room incredibly humid; the bedding, carpet and our clothes felt damp all week. This hotel is not very child-friendly. It took our two-year-old son less than two minutes to hit the push-button lock on the bathroom door and trap himself inside, the front desk had no spare key and maintenance took more than 10 minutes to arrive. The main problem we encountered was on the evening of July 4th. We returned from dinner to find the hotel parking lot literally bumper-to-bumper with locals gathering to watch the fireworks display at the nearby university. It took us 20 minutes to navigate through a maze of cars, lawn chairs, blankets, etc., only to find that there were no parking spaces reserved for hotel guests. The hotel staff accommodated our cars in the fire zone (!), but how much easier it would have been to cordon off a section of the parking lot for guests in advance or at least warn us of this annual event ahead of time! On the other hand, most of our stay was very quiet, the maids were lovely, most of the staff tried to be accommodating.”

“Hotel is clean for the most part, but is in desperate need of remodeling. Radisson advertises "Sleep Number Beds", but I didn't have one in either room I was in.”

“I booked this room because the hotel wouldn't honor my government employee rate. Unfortunately, we had a severe ice storm in northern TX and the roads were closed so I attempted to cancel the room. This is my troubles began. They initially said they would work with me because it was an act of Nature, but ultimately it was up to the hotel to refund the money. The hotel refused to provide a refund, regardless of the reason, and corporate claimed they couldn't do anything because the hotel was a franchise. After repeated calls to the hotel the manager (who hadn't been able to make it to work because of the storm) he finally agreed to refund half of my money. Then they initially told me it would take 24 hours to process the request. After 3 days and still no refund, I called again and was told it would take 3-5 days to process. On day 7 I was told sorry and I should be getting a refund any day. Finally, I received an email saying they would refund 50% of my moneyżs guess Iżll just wait for it to post to my credit card.”

“This hotel felt very empty. Other than one front desk staffer (who I never actually saw present again after check in) I never saw any other staff other than a bartender. It felt like being in a mall before it opened. Not many guests. Poor quality mattress gave me a backache. A depressing stay to say the least.”

“This hotel had a reasonably priced restaurant and room service menu. Our room was not the best. The desk clerk stated that if we wished to pay their price, we could get a king room. And I assume that we would have been rented an upgraded room with a newer bed. The hotel advertised Sleep Number beds and their web site quoted two different prices for the sleep number as opposed to the standard bed. We should have order room service breakfast, the price was right.”

“This hotel was not at all what I expected in a 3 star hotel. The rooms were really small. I have seen larger rooms in a Motel 6. The bed was better than in a Motel 6. They did not have a hot tub.”

“They were able to tell me which exit to take off of the 35 E, which was quite helpful. Besides not cleaning the floor, the tea and condiments were not replaced, and the notepad when used was not replaced. One evening when a luggage cart was needed, one was not found. The last evening when I tried my key card in the door nothing happened until I just pushed the door open. (An unsecured room!). ”

“We were most impressed by the employees of this Dissonance The pleasant experience we had here began at the front desk, with a warm greeting and a smile. The room was quiet and lovely, room service was accommodating and prompt. Beyond being a place where we would definitely return, it would be among the top 5 hotels at which we have ever stayed.”
