“The hotel is clean, in a good spot, and cheap. I recommend it for anyone visiting the French Quarter.”

“Great hotel. Very fair price. Will definitely be staying there next time we are in New Orleans. Hopefully they will get the glitches with the valet worked out. We waited at least 30 minutes for our car every time, even if we called ahead.”

“Beautiful lobby with quick service. The whole place smelled wonderful and was very clean. The room was small but very comfortable and charming. It looked out over the roof of another building but you didn't mind because the city lights still looked great.”

“I felt that the hotel was conveniently located, safe, and clean. The room was nice and spacious. The bed was soft and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and everything worked fine. I would recommend this hotel; it was nice and comfortable for my second stay in an unfamiliar city.”

“Recommend early check in to avoid rude and retarded night staff. Nice location allows easy access to French Quarter, but far enough away that one can comfortably retire early. Suggest use of valet, if one plans to come and go, as econo parking doesn't allow in/out.”

“This hotel is awesome if you are on a budget. I ended paying average of $70 per night (after the fees and parking). I thought this would be a pretty bootleg hotel, but it turned out to be very nice, I highly recommend checking it out. Just watch out for that parking $26 per day!”

“This hotel was okay. Nothing special but good price and great location. One thing that bothered me was that there is a $8 per day communications charge regardless of whether or not you use the phone and/or internet. Parking was $15 per day as well. So make sure you add on $ to the hotel per day.”

“This hotel turned out to be a very pleasant stay. The staff were helpful and the room was very comfortable. The only downside was the poor reception of the television in the room, but who takes a vacation in a city like New Orleans to watch TV anyways?”

“The staff was friendly and the room was nice. The size of the room was larger than I expected for a boutique hotel. The only problem we had been there was not enough towels, but was promptly given plenty after asking. Also, the area around the hotel seemed safe and nice. There were several nice hotels in the vicinity.”

“This is a great buy! The price for the location can't be beat! Easy walking distance (2 blocks) to the French Quarter. Beautiful clean rooms. Housekeeping tends to run late, or forget to replenish towels, and the staff is helpful but busy.”

“One of the worst experiences I've had with the hotel. Hotel had severe plumbing and other maintenance problems, and staff was inflexible, and generally not helpful.”

“Our room was very small but functional. The rate was reasonable considering the time we attended. The Hotel staff were not very personable. Our room was in an adjacent building and we were simply pointed in the right direction after check-in. I would stay here again if there was nothing else available.”

“Well I will start off with the things I did like. I enjoyed that there were no rooms beside me. We were right next to the stairs which I liked because when they did have two elevators working, they were old, rickety, and half the size of a normal elevator. But only the last day did they have both working. I also enjoyed where our windows were at in the room. We had a corner room. Were one window was on one wall and we had two big windows on the other wall. Did I mention that the room was very small! But the windows made the room look much bigger. And the last thing I liked was that it was prime location! Yes, I would probably would stay there again just for were it was at. But now that I think about that there were many hotels on that block. I guess the bottom line would be the money side. Other than that there were many thing bad. To name a few. Dirty, old, shower was nasty with old toothpaste in it, TV was very blurry (if you are drunk it might not matter), continental breakfast was a joke (all you get is a kids danish and a small cup of coffee, oh and they don't have it out very long). And the last thing. I'm not from around there so when I saw $15 a night for parking I was shocked but not as much as when I saw the valets driving and triple parking. Make sure you park your own car and get a spot were they can't put 2 cars behind you and 1 in front you.”

“This hotel was okay. Had a few problems such as finding coffee at the bar, not enough towels in room, had to pay to park at the motel. Staff not very friendly or knowledgeable”

“This hotel fit my needs perfectly. The room was small and some things were broken (safe, showerhead, closet doorknob), also light bulbs needed to be replaced. However, the staff was very friendly, hotel seems fancy, and location was really great. I would certainly stay at this hotel again, even though there is a hidden $6/day fee.”

“This boutique hotel also has an annex on the opposite corner (where I stayed). I was very surprised with the room facilities and tasteful "period" furnishings, given the price paid. Very conveniently located to the French quarter and the river attractions. A very pleasant place to stay with smiling helpful staff.”

“Overall the stay here was fine, but we weren't in the room much. We didn't get towels in our room past day 1. The staff at the desk, although courteous, was slow and uninformed. The "valet" parking was self park and pays a machine, and there weren't always available spots. The "resort fee" seemed a bit much for wireless internet, as we didn't use the exercise facilities (not sure where they were) or the in room safe. For such a great price, I would stay here again.”
