“The hotel was in a great location but the staff was not friendly or very helpful. Also there was no parking available at the hotel unless you wanted to pay a large fee. This should be noted on anyone staying here.”

“This hotel, at the corner of Jackson and St. Charles, on the trolley line is a fine location. There is a convenience store across the street and beyond that is a great restaurant and bar.”

“The hotel itself was in poor shape. The wall paper in the room was torn off the walls, The lamp shades were torn and broken, and the bed mattress was wet. We left several hours after arriving.”

“The lobby of the hotel was very nice, however, looks can be deceiving. There was only one working elevator, which was very small, and since this hotel was atleast 7 + stories high there was a long wait to access the upper level unless you wanted to travel up and down the stairs. The sink in my bathroom stayed clogged and the bath tub drained very slowly. There was no clock in the room, I had to pay extra for use of their wireless internet, which was not high speed and I did not get to chose if I wanted to pay this price or not, it was mandatory for all guests. There was no alarm clock in the room. I woke up one morning to throw up in the hall way.”

“This hotel was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. It looked fancy on the outside, but was like a "roach motel" on the inside. Everything about my trip was great, except for my living arrangements. I was shocked and disappointed. You should not have this hotel on your list, and I recommend that you no longer do business with this branch.”

“The room had significant issues with "deferred maintenance." A towel rack, the shower curtain pole and the toilet paper holder were all falling out of the walls. Also, the TV was not operable because the channels had not been programmed. Finally, one elevator was out of service "for renovations" and the other broke down at least twice during our one night stay.”

“The hotel only had one working elevator and the check in was long. The rooms were not clean and when I called for service it was quick but still did not fix the air in the room luckily it got cold.”

“This is an old hotel which was once a fine place to stay. The stonework is still beautiful. The wooden furniture in the rooms is in need of replacement. The fabric in the rooms is old, worn and stained (but otherwise cleans). It has one working elevator which tends to break down, so don't stay here if you are not physically fit. Has off street parking.”

“My entire family was there for a wedding. I gave my two grown son rooms for a Christmas present. It was a horrible experience. The air in the room didn't work, and the elevators were broke so we had to walk the steps. Some of our family members are elderly and they had a tough time. When I checked out, I asked the girl at the front counter if that was it and she said, "yea." no apology for the elevator being broke, no apology for the hell my family went through, just rudeness. It was a horrible experience.”

“We could not even take a shower because the water in the tub backed up. We reported this at 11 p.m. and were told the engineering staff had gone home; therefore no one could help us. Also we had no heat in the room. The heater was out. Horrible experience.”

“Because the room and bath are generous size, the room is a good place for family stays. My room is very inviting and pleasant.”

“When walking into my room the faucet handle was off and sitting next to the sink. The air conditioner was on, but it was warn in the room. I went down to the front desk, and they had someone there within the hour, but, I still think it was not presentable when I first walked in.”

“The continental breakfast was the worst I have ever had. They couldn't even be bothered to provide real creamer for the coffee. One of the two elevators in the hotel was inoperable, resulting in long waits to get up and down from my room. I used the stairs more often than the elevator. Finally, I find it extremely objectionable that this hotel (or any other) includes Fox News in its cable television selection. Sure, I just flipped past it.”

“For the price I paid, I would recommend this hotel to anyone if they just want to get away for a weekend or conduct business matters. I wished I could have stayed longer but I needed to get to work to pay for the bill.”

“Great hotel in old new Orleans. The hotel was old and in need have repair, but still a pleasant place to stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Mix-up with check-in time. We had to wait a little while until a room was ready, but we eventually got in. Overall a pleasant experience for a one night stays.”

“The room had a bad smell and the hall way did not look as nice as the lobby. Some of the room numbers were indicated by a piece of paper with room 516 typed on it.”
