“This motel has a terrific location by the outlet shops! The service was very helpful and gave great directions. The complimentary breakfast had a wide variety of selections and we were very pleased with everything!”

“It was a good experience. We were given a smoking king room, but they had non-smoking queen rooms available so we switched rooms. The room was a bit small, however adequate to our needs. Breakfast was incredible. Very happy with it and good coffee, too.”

“Hotel is located in a convenient location to attractions and in the middle of an outlet mall. The staff was friendly. The breakfast room floor was being replaced while we were there, but it was done without interruption to service. Our room had a water stain on the ceiling and the beds while adequate were not the best.”

“Holiday Inn must be lacking inspections by their officials, like they did years ago. Front desk ignored my requests. Never again will I go to any Holiday Inn.”

“We arrived at 2:00pm and were told that the motel was fully booked and that our rooms would not be ready until the scheduled check in time of 4:00pm. We left the motel and noticed as we drove around the building that there were very few cars in the spaces. We decided to stay in the parking by the lobby and wait for a shuttle bus to take us around the mall outlet stores that surrounded this motel. There were only a few travelers entering the motel lobby as we waited. We then decided to walk to the nearest stores and shop. Every time we left a store and gazed at the motel we didn't notice any appreciable traffic increase. We returned at 4:00 and were given our keys. There were a few other customers and we again heard the staff telling customers they were fully booked. We were directed to our rooms and when we entered the hall of our wing, nearly all the doors were open with used linens on the floor. We entered our room and our mouths dropped. We found and asked the cleaning staff when our room would be ready and they said maybe 20 minutes or so. My wife immediately left and went to the front desk. At the desk, the customer in front of her was told that they were fully booked. When my wife addressed the staff with our "issue", she was immediately given a key to a room in a different wing. We entered that hall and it was quiet and empty of traffic. The room was clean and ready. It was obvious that this wing was ready hours before. We left our door open as we settled in, relaxed and sat, etc. After our long day on the road and did not notice any traffic to other rooms, with the exception of one family, for the nearly 1/2 hour we were there. It seemed obvious that rooms were ready when we arrived at 2:00pm and that we could have checked in at that time. The "fully booked" information given at all junctures was obviously not accurate. We felt that we were treated in a callous fashion. We left for sightseeing and dinner. When we returned we drove around.”

“We had problems. We tried to call the desk and left a message but no one returned our call. The rug was wet and smelly where the air conditioner leaked. The TV didn't get a signal. The next morning, the lady at the desk made a list of our concerns but she didn't seem to care that we had problems. Nothing was offered to us to make up for the problems (we only booked for one night).”

“This was a fine hotel. Of course, it wasn't deluxe (and it was not rated to be). However, the hotel did exceed our expectations. It had a great location to the outlets while still being in a quiet atmosphere. The staff was all very nice and helpful. The breakfast bar was an added bonus! Only bad thing was the fact that the air conditioning wasn't working very well.”

“The housekeeper did a fantastic job, and was very friendly. This is a great hotel for family travel. The kids enjoyed the pool, and the location is great; close to Dutch Wonderland, and connected to many outlet stores. The woman at the front desk seemed very uncomfortable in her role, not really understanding how to issue us new keys that would work for the second night's stay. We were told to come back later for our new keys. I think she may have been someone from their sales team filling in. The nice gentleman who was attending the complimentary continental breakfast wore disposable gloves when handling food, but used the same gloves to push down trash in the overflowing can, and then handled food again. The property is very nice and a bit of retraining would make it a slam dunk.”

“I thought that this hotel was a good value for the money. The location was great and we had easy access to everything that we wanted to go and see in Lancaster. My only complaint is that they put us in a room with a king size bed and pull out couch instead of a room with two queen beds. We stayed with our two small children, so I was not happy that they did not have another room available for us.”

“The was a little small for a family of four, but it was only a one night stay, so it was acceptable. Fitness center was extremely small, containing only two tread mills and a bike.”
