“Service at the front desk at check-in was horrible. Staff member acted as if it was a burden to check us in. Then we were told that there was a problem with the room keys, so a maintenance man had to let us into our room. First room we were given had only on bed, even though we had clearly booked a room with two, as was on our confirmation paper that we had given the front desk. Second room had the two beds, but was not non-smoking as requested.”

“It was an absolutely horrendous experience. I didn't feel safe at all, the rooms are seriously outdated, there were black hairs in the bed, no internet, the staff acted as though I was a complete annoyance whenever I asked for help, and the price wasn't even that great. Don't do it!”

“The staff was not very helpful they gave me the wrong directions over the phone when I called. I turned out to be close by and found it totally by accident. Their "laundry facilities" consist of one washer and dryer for the "exterior" rooms and another set for the "interior" rooms. And they're in dimly lit out of the way areas. I also was under the impression we would be staying in a hotel rather than motel atmosphere. They have no Wi-Fi. The signal is so low it is inaccessible. At first I got by with standing near the window to pick up a signal, but after the first night, I couldn't get anything. The housekeeping carts are so loud, they sound like trains or helicopters. Terrible. Last night there my keycard wouldn't work in the door! Would never recommend this "hotel" to anyone.”

“Room was comfortable; cleanup was prompt, good room amenities (microwave, coffee, and refrigerator).”

“Overall it was well worth the money I spent on the room. The room showed some aging but, was neat and clean. The bed was somewhere between a piece of wood and a rock. The a/c unit was slow to work but, did its job. All in all I would take my family here without any doubt. They do need to "re do" some things around the place thou.”

“I will not recommend this hotel to anyone, the room was dirty, especially the bathroom (toilet). The room had a very bad smoke smell and the door that lead to the room next door had a hole on it (not fixed) so we could see the people in the room next to us.”

“I was sorely disappointed by this hotel. Ramada is a name I trusted for a standard of excellence. The lack of restaurant for breakfast, exercise room, and no manager on site, sat/sun leaves a bad taste. The only place to eat was a smoke filled lounge, very uncomfortable! Vagrants walking the decks at night made it most uncomfortable!”

“I was very disappointed with this hotel. Their housekeeping, room condition, security was very poor. The amenities, and features represented in the brochure were non-existent, and no manager was present sat. Or Sunday to deal with the problems. Staff was very unknowledgeable about features. (gym/exercise room, restaurant)”

“On the first night, my room was scary with lots of noise outside my window. The bedding especially the pillow smelled noxious. I finally requested a different room at 11:30 PM. The desk clerk was angry with me for waiting so long to make the request. I've never met a ruder hotel staff, especially the guys working nights. What happened to customer service. My second room was quieter and apparently cleaner. Still, it was an awful experience”

“This motel is poorly managed and not deserving of a 2* rating. The room was run-down and there was constant noise from traffic and people. Not a place for families - there were prostitutes arguing outside at 4 AM. YUCK!”

“Maintenance seems to be lacking. I also believe that the room may have been put back into service because of demand. It was mold infested, the phone was not fictional, some lights did not work, and water drained slowly from the bath room. My room was one of few that had a big white spot painted, stamped on the door which suggested a special identifier. A disappointing stay this time. I have had better experiences at this same location. As recent as August 19/20-2005.”

“I didn't not like this hotel. I wanted to check out after the first night, but couldn't change my plans for fear of not getting my money back. Also the hotel refused to give me a bill stating my balance.”

“This hotel was horribly rundown. The rooms were in very poor condition with water damage, damaged and peeled paint, and towels and bedding that were not as clean as they could be. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.”
