• Decent breakfast; queen size - not double - beds; location for our needs.
• No vent in the bathroom; Wi-Fi was not strong in guest room - only in lobby and breakfast area.

“Hotel was what you'd expect for a Country Inn & Suites. Comfortable room, iron and board, hair dryer, etc. Heating/cooling unit did not clunk on and off all night. Wi-Fi is weak in guest rooms, but very good in lobby and breakfast area. Breakfast was decent - waffles, biscuits and gravy, assorted breads, cereals, fruit, coffee, juice.”

• The beds and pillows were very comfortable for a good nights sleep.
• Please offer sausage or bacon with breakfast.

• Curtains didn't completely cover the window. Was given a smoking room first.

• The front desk switched my room from smoking to smoking to non smoking finally!
• Secluded, dark, and dungeon like.

“I did not request portage area. I requested Kalamazoo.”

• This was just a good stay and relaxing.

• The women who worked at the desk the second day was professional and also friendly.
• The toilet was dirty, the pool and spa were broken. Upkeep was questionable.

“It served as an adequate shelter, but the pool and hot tub were closed due to a broken heater and the room was not very clean.”

• Friendly, very accommodating, clean inside.
• slow to clean the walks after the snow storm.

“Hotel was good for us to stay at. The continental breakfast served enough variety of food for us experience a change each day. Front desk was very accommodating.”

• The staff.
• Moldy smelling room, toilet overflowed, shower didn't drain, wallpaper peeling off walls, tub chipped, poor AC.

“This hotel was substandard for a Doubletree. Our room had stained curtains and smelled like mold, the toilet overflowed and the shower didn't drain. We called the front desk to inquire about changing rooms and they sent up a maintenance person to snake the plumbing which worked pretty well. The AC didn't cool the room very well and the wall paper was peeling off in several spots. We were only there for 2 nights but I wouldn't stay there again.”

• We were able to check in when we arrived. Around 1pm. Pleasant staff and nice room.
• We were dismayed that our room had not been made up on our second day.

“This hotel is located conveniently near the airport. Our room was pleasant and clean when we arrived. Comp breakfast was a plus. On our second day we left our room at around 10am, returning at around 10pm, and the room had not been made up. Bed was not made, used towels were still on side of tub, and wastebaskets had not been emptied. We were very disappointed. The housekeeping department needs to be more thorough.”

• Considering the amenities, this is an above average facility.
• The hallways' temperature, especially after a dip in the pool, is too cool.

“We have stayed at this hotel 2 times in February and in May, 2007; whether a weekend/weekday stay, we were not plagued with crowds of neither people nor intrusive noise. Considering the reasonable price, we think the indoor pool; the rooms with microwave and fridge, the friendly and responsive staff are great! Another thing we liked, as Baby Boomer smokers, is that we were not shuttled off to the top floor, end-of-the-hall room. We were in a first floor room, mid-hall and had windows with screens that opened to clear the air before our grandchildren visited.”

• The breakfast provided was great, as was the desk.
• Too much air freshener in room and bad pillows.

“This location was hard to find and the room smelled strongly of air freshener. The pillows were "down" pillows and not comfortable. The front desk was very nice and helpful. The free breakfast was very tasty.”

• The decor was nice and the room was clean, with the exception of an over looked used wash cloth.
• This may be true of every hotel, but we could hear every word that was said from the room next to us. The walls are thin and it makes it hard to rest.

“I thought the hotel was nice. We really weren't there long enough to enjoy all the amenities, but the rooms were clean and comfortable. I liked having a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Walls are very thin and could hear every word from the room next to us. I would stay again.”

• No soundproofing, kept awake by TV in the next room.

“Clean, cheap. You can hear sounds from next room, and they can hear you. Don't bother with the "continental breakfast".”

“Don't stay if you want to be treated bad. Room was dirty and smelled bad. The staff was rude and when I tried to check in at 3 they told be the rooms wouldn't be ready till after 4 or so...Stay at somewhere else. I will never stay here again...”
