• Pool and hot tub was too small, very crowded.

• Clean hotel and friendly staff.
• Like all Country Inns the decor is well country and a bit hokey but hey for a business traveler I just want a clean place to stay and they do deliver.

“Overall pretty pleasant stay. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly but I do have one small gripe. I was put in an adjoining room and my neighbors were a bit loud.”

• Friendly staff, free breakfast.
• Location wasn't that great.

“The Hotel is located on the outskirts of Rapid City. If you have a car, it's a good location to explore the surrounding areas. (i.e. Mt. Rushmore and the Black Hills.) Friendly, helpful staff. Free Breakfast in the morning. And a little pool with a waterslide. This hotel would be ideal for a family get-away.”

• I liked the cozy entrance and friendly staff.
• It took about 30 minutes to check in because of an inexperienced person at the front desk.

“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The pool had many unsupervised children which made it hard to relax in the hottub(which needed to be cleaned). Otherwise my stay was uneventfull and the rooms and lobby were clean and comfortable.”

“The overall stay was good. The employees in charge of the continental breakfast were very accommodating and had the kitchen area very clean and eye appealing! All the staff of the motel greeted us daily coming to and from the room and lobby!”

• Just a great atmosphere. Nice rooms. I didn't get a chance to experience the breakfast, but it looked great.
• I didn't find any negative aspects.

• Super friendly staff.
• Open front door cold when coming from the pool.

“Excellent location. Nice rooms even room for a rollaway. Big bathrooms. Fast shooting water slide for kids. Hearty breakfast. Loved the lending library too.”

• There trouble with the internet.

“Over all this is a nice hotel the room was nice and they a nice breakfast and had soup in the evening. The only problem was they had trouble with there internet provider during the two days that I was there. The staff how ever did take care of the problem as soon as they found out. All I can say is what a great staff.”

• The continental breakfast was excellent.
• Not enough working washers and dryers, the janitorial staff did not clean room thoroughly.

“Good location, great breakfast, first room I moved into had dirty sheets. Second room was clean at the outset, but staff failed to empty coffee pot twice and didn't empty all of the trash cans. Also, we were short of toilet paper. Dryer worked poorly and times for cycles were not posted so you have to continuously check to see if your load is finished which is a double pain if the laundry isn't on the floor you are staying on.”

• The housekeeper did an excellent job in making up our room every day. Good attention to detail.
• Cups on the floor were picked up. Employee pulled out clean cups put them with the dirty cups and taken to storage room. Not sure if thrown away.

“Staff was very friendly. The room was made up very nice every day. Towels were being folded at front desk and I question the cleanliness of doing that. Some cups that fell on the floor were taken to a storage room and mixed with clean cups and Im concerned that rather then throwing them away they were put on a shelf for later use.”
