• Room was not cleaned until after 3 PM.

“As a convenient hotel to the Newark Airport, the Country Inn & Suites Elizabeth is good. The hotel offers free parking, free breakfast, free internet (although very slow). The Jersey Gardens Mall is just across the street and a Ruby Tuesday restaurant is just next door to the hotel. Although not luxurious, we had a very comfortable stay. I had hoped to get one of the suites with kitchen facilities but was not available. Fair enough, as it was an excellent price for a very acceptable hotel.”

• It was right across the street from the Mall.

“The hotel was clean, neat and nice. We were there for overnight and the mall was right across the street. We had a great breakfast included in our room price and there were nice choices and very roomy accommodations. Would suggest this hotel to family and friends.”

• Great location for Jersey Gardens Mall and Newark Airport.

“This hotel is a bit isolated if you do not have own transport. Saying that it is within a three minutes walk of the Jersey Gardens Outlet Mall and has a free shuttle to P4 at Newark International airport. Very handy for last minute shopping.”

• Walking distance to several restaurants and shopping.
• They could not provide a refrigerator for medications as promised.

“The hotel is in a good location across from the Jersey Gardens Mall. Ruby Tuesday and another casual dining restaurant are within easy walking distance. The staff is friendly. The airport shuttle is not convenient to access if you are traveling with a moderate or large amount of luggage. You need to take the airport tramway to reach the pick up area.”

“This hotel reservation was made during the Spring Break. I was meaning to try this place for a while. Will I return again? May be and may be not. It is not the hotel's fault. The clients that stay there can be rude. That alone can make or break the hotel experience. The front desk should have been staffed with at least one more person. My check-in was around 9:30 PM and people were checking in as late as that with lines at both clerks. Hotels need to cut back on paying the execs and start putting monies into the people who really do the job out in the front line. Bedding was fine in the room. However, I have been noticing in most hotels and this one was no exception. When the pillows start looking lumpy, don't continue using it. Have them replaced with new ones and have housekeepers evaluate rooms after one cleans it up. Would I want my family to spend the night here? Would we get a night's sleep or just a bed and some thing called bed linen and pillows?”

• Having a room beside the elevator.

“Nice and has an airport shuttle. Makes you feel safe and comfortable. Don't get a room beside the elevator unless you keep your TV up all the time or you are not going to be in your room a lot.”

• Easy access to airport and free shuttle service.
• I would like to be able to stay there again because it is so convenient to the airport.

“The place appeared to be clean but after sleeping I woke up and found two bites on my arm that were not there when I arrived. I wonder if there are bed bugs and if the hotel should be inspected and fumigated if necessary. It's so convenient I hate to not be able to use it in the future.”

• Location and free shuttle 24/7--close to mall and restaurants.
• Mattress and pillows were too soft and mushy and poor quality.

“The hotel is nice for the location it's in. The room is acceptable for 2.5 Stars with the exception of the mattress we had in our room which was in dire need of replacement. There's free breakfast each morning which is cereal, donuts, waffles, coffee, juice, etc. But it's free. Diner amd Ruby Tuesday's is next door. Jersey Gardens Outlet Mall within walking distance--Shuttle to Newark Airport only a 10 min. Ride. Also an Indoor pool and small workout room.”
