• Rooms were big.
• Room smelled of smoke!

“The room smelled of smoke, we immediately told the front desk, they said the hotel was filled and the only thing they could do was come in and spray air freshener! wow! that was nice of them!! BFD so we had to go to the store and buy candles and air freshener and burn them and spray and keep our windows opened all the time so it could air out.”

• Staff friendly, no extra 'hidden' charges.
• Non-smoking hotel.

“Staff was great, they make you feel like part of the family. If it would have had smoking rooms, it would have been near perfect. But, I feel this is no more than a 2 1/2 star establishment.”

• The staff was very friendly and professional.
• The hotel was very dated. Did not meet a 3 star hotel

“Although the staff was very friendly the hotel was very dated. I turned on the hair dryer and smoke and sparks came pouring out. The smoke filled the entire room. Maintence did come right away and replaced with new. Sunday morning we had no hot water. We just packed up and left. Did not live up to the normal 3 star hotels I have booked in the past.”

• Easy highway access.
• Breakfast was awful.

“Standard 2 star hotel, staff is friendly and location is nice. The breakfast was awful and we did not try lunch or dinner at the hotel. There are other (very good) places in the area.”

• Great price!
• Carpeting in the hall was filthy.

“My room was comfortable and compact. The hotel staff placed me far away from the karaoke bar, which was good. The carpeting in the hall needs replaced soon.”

• Great value, comfortable beds, breakfast included.
• Public spaces look worn; layout is unusual.

“We were traveling with our young son and needed to break up our trip and stop over for the night about 250 miles from home. Although the common areas are worn and dated, the rooms are nice and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is included with the room stay. It is not great but with a young kid, we were able to get some cereal/eggs/milk into him while we were there rather than driving somewhere else. This place would be perfect if they had mini fridges in the room.”

• The location was good.
• The air conditioning was terrible, the rug was torn and the bathroom did not have the appearance of being clean.

“The location of this hotel was good. The room was old and not well maintained. The air conditioning did not work properly. I expected better quality from a Sheraton Hotel.”

• The breakfast buffet was outstanding.
• We thought we were getting a queen but got a double, bed was small.

“Nice hotel, easy to get to and the staff was friendly. The breakfast buffet was definitely a plus!”

• Front desk staff was friendly.
• Green pool. Hair in bath tub drain and bedspread. Not mine. Breakfast.

“This is a relatively small town and understand standards might not be same. Cleaning crew not friendly or helpful (almost snide) and facilities left lot to be desired. Door in back opened with room key was damaged and anyone had access with or without key. Pool was not kept up (this is July), very green (unusable). Needing some updating.”

• Exceptional value. Nice room, full breakfast.
• No fridge or microwave.

“New carpeting in hallways, excellent beds and large rooms. A full buffet breakfast with waiter service came with the room. The only negative was no fridge or microwave. For an older facility, it more than met my expectations.”

• The staff was helpful.
• The fitness center was closed. The hotel looked like it was time for many upgrades. Carpet in he halls - worn, halls were extremely hot.

“My room was a double and a bit tight. The room was clean and air conditioned. The hall was extremely hot (warmer than outside). The carpet in the halls were badly warn and there isn't an elevator to the second floor. The lack of an elevator is fine if you do not have heavy luggage, which we did. The staff is helpful and as long as you stay in your room the facility seems like a possible 2 star hotel. I do not agree with the three star rating given.”

• Staff very pleasant breakfast was quite good.
• Halls and hotel rooms need update gymn not open.

“The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The halls of the hotel were very shabby. The room itself had a comfortable bed,somewhat dated looking but generally pretty clean. The door to the hotel room seemed to have gaps around the frame.The breakfast which was included in the price was very good and the servers were friendly. The hotel had an outdoor pool which looked fine we did not use it however. I was disappointed the gym was not functioning which is important to me. One of the persons in our party tried to get a smoking room which should have been available however the hotels computer was unable to accommodate the request despite numerous attempts by the hotel staff. All around I would say it was advertised correctly as a three star hotel.”

• Horrible experience at restaurant, poor & slow service, food was cold.

“We had dinner at the restaurant after we arrived. The room was practically empty but there was only 1 waitress. We waited a long time to order & it took over 1/2 hour to get our food. The burger was overcooked, hard as a rock (I ordered medium), put cheese on it when I ordered it without cheese, French fries cold. Couldn't find waitress to send it back. By the time she did check back, my husband was already done his meal (which was also cold but her was hungry). We never got the drinks we ordered. She blamed it on the manager who was trying to make trouble for her and make life miserable! No apologies, lots of excuses. We ended up leaving without me eating & I got a chocolate bar from the vending machine. Horrible customer service and horrendous food.”

• The front desk personnel were friendly and tried to help.
• The breakfast was horrible watery eggs. over cooked sausage no bacon etc.

“The price I received it at was a fair trade. I did have to change rooms twice the first night for air conditioning problems. I found the hotel kitchen to be inadequate and wouldnt dine there.”
