“Excellent overall, beautiful setting for walking and jogging trails. Fixed dinner menu a little expensive and pub is ok. Breakfast on patio was very relaxing. Liked free wireless availability. A little touch to find. Need better street signs.”

“I stayed at this hotel July 2008 with my wife for a business trip. The closet area had what appeared to be pen marks and scuffs all over it as well - not important but doesn't give a clean appearance. The room carpet looked worn as well. The room also had moths in it. I suspect the moths came in from the outside as there was a door that leads to a small deck, though we never opened it. I was too exhausted to request a new room, but I did have to call down because the air conditioner appeared to not be working. The room was 81 Degrees upon first entering it - not a good first impression. The person who came up to help was very nice and mentioned that the unit takes time to kick on. The room cooled down fine once the air conditioner was working. The facility itself was very clean overall and looked maintained. The people who worked at the front desk were very pleasant as well.”

“When we arrived at the hotel we were told our room had engineering issues and would not be available. It would have been nice if they could have called. They sent us to another hotel over 20 min away. When we arrived, the original hotel had not yet arranged for our stay at this next hotel. We then called the 1st hotel and they indicated it would be taken care of. An hour later, it still had not.”

“I'd stay again, it is a wonderful spot, quiet, the room was clean, bed was comfortable, great work-out room and outdoor heated pool, tennis, walking, hiking trails, food, pretty good, a bit pricey for the dinner buffet but okay. Full breakfast and room was very nice as well.”

“It was easy checking in. Secluded and very rich interior. Country grounds were beautiful and well manicured. Room was cushy and well "pillowed"! Roomy and warm. Bathroom tub was adequate and the private porch was very nice.”

“I have stayed at this location on several occasions and always cringe when it comes up. The hotel is not a 3 star location. The rooms are damp, the service is consistent with a 2 star, and the location is way off the beaten path.”

“Friendly desk staff. Road in not sufficiently signed. You dont know its there. The parent corp. is listed on sign thats almost invisible at night. The grounds are beautiful and were we there longer could have explored the assets of the center but it was just a sleepover.”

“This hotel was just too far (6 miles) out from everything and was hard to find even with goggle-earth. You need a rental car to get to and from Princeton, NJ or any other location; it was not a four-star hotel - maybe 2.5. It is a conference center for businesses to hold meetings like its name Emplies.”

“The hotel was in a nice, but sort of odd location. Very close to main part of Princeton. I thought they could have found a better time to paint the hallways than 5-7 P.M. The room wasn't much nicer than staying at one of the better Days Inns, but over twice the price.”

“Great location with decor apparently unchanged since 1980's. Very quiet and comfortable accommodation in wooded surroundings just a few miles away from the university of Princeton.”

“Very disappointing compared to other hotels in same class. Would receive a good rating as a 2 star hotel.” Amenities at Chauncey Conference Center, Princeton
