• The helpful & friendly staff, they were so great.
• Only thing, later pool hours on weekends. not much time to use it when you get back from other things.but thats same everywhere else.

• Very quaint, reminded me of a private B&B we stayed at in Ireland.
• Terrible showers.

“Very nice place. Welcoming color scheme made you feel very relaxed and at home. Good complimentary breakfast. The only complaint is those dang low flow shower heads. Coupled with the fact that they run hard water, it seemed like you never rinsed off completely; made you feel slimy all over. The economies of the low flow shower are dubious. Because so much air is mixed with the water by the time it hits your body, you have to run the water at a much hotter temperature than normal. The water coming out right at the shower head was much hotter than what actually touched you. So you're using more hot water, which takes more energy to generate, thus negating any benefits from using less water. Other than that, it was a very nice hotel with fine accommodations.”

• Beds were comfortable, breakfast was good.
• Bugs in the room.

“Staff could be a lot more friendly and helpful. I had to leave for an appointment at 7:00AM and wanted to have a cup of coffee out of the breakfast room and was told very rudely that they don't open until 7:00AM on weekends.”

• Needs a bigger pool.

• Clean and nice.
• Shower head was small and water only sprayed hard like needles.

“Room was nice with room to move around. Beds were comfortable, but the shower had an incredibly small head on it that made the water come out like needles. This was the only negative about our stay.”

• Nice atmosphere.
• They need to get better pillows.

“It was a clean nice hotel with easy access to highways. Rooms could use new pillows. My stay was quiet and comfortable with close eateries and shopping. Also a movie theatre close by.”

• Free breakfast, good location near I94, polite staff.
• Our room was at the far end of a hall, but that really was not a problem.

“No problem at check in or check out. The staff was friendly. The room was clean. Many families were guests. I heard staff mention to families that baby geese could be seen behind the hotel. We appreciated the free breakfast, which though not elaborate, did include French toast and fresh waffles, variety of bread/donut items, yogurt, fruit and multiple beverages. We would stay there again.”

• The elevators will squeeze you between doors, dangerous for children.

• The exercise room had good equipment for a workout.
• The hotel is very close to the interstate. Traffic woke me up at 4:00 am.

“The free breakfast is good with a nice selection of items. The free internet also worked well. The only downside was the noise from the interstate. There is a bar/restaurant next door, but nothing else within walking distance.”

• Parking-had to park way on the other side by the music store.

• Clean quiet and conveniently located.
• Unfortunately, my wife found that the pillows provided were extremely soft and the beds were firmer than she was used to at home.

“This hotel was worth the money. It offered a decent continental breakfast. The staff was friendly and quite helpful. I liked the location.”

• Staff was friendly. Hot chili offered in the evening in Minnesota snow and cold was a welcome treat.
• Snow plow was late in getting there to clean out the parking lot.

“Everything about this hotel was up to expectations, but because it's off a freeway and not a vibrant neighborhood, the occupancy rate was low. Not bad for those who don't like crowds. Would have liked to have a computer printer available to get some work done. Desk was accommodating in printing things for me, but it wasn't convenient.”

• Clean room, comfortable bed, nice bathroom.
• A charge for the hotel room was put on my credit card even though it was already paid.

“Nice clean comfortable hotel. When checking in make sure they know you already paid or they may put a charge on your credit card by mistake.”

• Breakfasts were great. There were a lot of choices.
• Area where we had breakfast was a teensy bit small.

“We had a problem with our room at first. They moved us to another right away. It was quiet, clean and wonderful. I would go back again.”

• Convenient location and easy to get too. Like the fact that there is a foot facility next door.
• Pool area was a bit crowded. Noisy, lots of people a bit too active. No one to supervise or check on their actions.

“Clean. Beds were comfortable. Like I said the poor area was small with the amount of people that were using it. They were playing catch and jumping around so not very relaxing. My opinion was that this hotel is not for big groups of people with a lot of youngsters. More for couples who want to get away and enjoy a little swimming and leisure soak in the hot tub. I would stay there again but may not use the pool facilities at that time. I know there was a quiet time specified but by then I was ready to retire for the evening. ”
