“Location was excellent so I guess it was a good deal for the price. However, there was a dance club in the lobby playing the most outrageous music all night. Also, both nights I stayed here I came across many very loud patrons who woke me from my sleep, to the point I had to complain.”

“A solid middle class hotel in Boston's theater district, the Courtyard Marriott is clean, safe, and staffed with helpful people.”

“The rooms are clean but very small. We encounter 3 different doormen who were all very rude. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was very good. Kids eats for free. Front desk, very welcoming.”

“This hotel is well located and the staff is very nice and friendly. They helped as much as they could. But the rooms are small, the bathroom had no ventilation and dim lighting. We couldn't control our own thermostat so they sent up an air mover (a fan) which handled the situation. Iron and blow dryer both worked well. Had to use a roll away (no double rooms available)and that was rough!”

“The hotel rooms are very small, without a bath tub and the TV, although a flat screen was mounted in the corner of the room out of view from the bed. The elevator broke down trapping me inside for 20 minutes with 2 other women who were hysterical and couldn't speak English.”

“Moderate level hotel very convenient to Green and Orange T lines. Wonderful service from staff at all levels and the room was more than adequate. The room was cold (mid Oct) as they hadn't turned heat on but we were promptly given a space heater which worked fine.”

“Clean, very polite, very close to everything I wanted, great. Close to subway, close to other large hotels.”

“The hotel appeared to be nice, but the front of the building was being renovated so it wasn't a pretty sight. We were on the 8 floor and luckily did not have our window facing the front of the building. For the price we price we paid, we would have gone somewhere else had we known ahead of time.”

“The hotel wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. While the hotel lobby was breathtaking, the rooms were okay, and our view was of an adjacent building. Wired Internet access was free (so nice), but wireless was not (not a big deal for me). We had an extra person staying with us, and even though I called ahead and requested a cot, at check-in, the desk manager said the room was "too small for a cot''. So, our buddy slept in the closet. A fire alarm also went off for one hour while we tried to sleep.”

“This is a great hotel. It is in the theater district of Boston. Was convenient to sites around the city. It was also very convenient to the Subway. It would not be an ideal hotel if you were traveling with young children.”

“Construction is currently being done on this hotel. In spite of the construction, our room obviously had not been one that was updated yet: cracking tiles, ripped wallpaper, no water pressure, etc.”

“This was a great hotel that had us right in downtown Boston between Chinatown and the theater district. The hotel staff was very accommodating and the hotel itself is very nice. The room had a king bed which dominated the small size and there was only a shower in the room. My only real complaint was that the cost for parking was 50% of the price.”

“Overall the hotel represented good value for the money, but any money you saved by staying here will be spent on parking - approximately $36/night! The buffet breakfast was good and worth the money considering the generally high prices for food in Boston restaurants.”

“Great location, friendly staff. Nice rooms. However, or king bed room was very small (even for a city room). The room was comfortably & nicely decorated.”

“Hotel did not clean the bathroom when we came in - hair dryer lying over toilet tank, used soap & shampoo in the shower, fewer towels (than usual) hanging in restroom.”
