• Location is perfect
• Rooms could get makeover. Laminated furniture but the hotel rate is rather pricey similar to other high end hotels.

• Location was great right in downtown.
• No close parking, small room, was really hott even with the heat off.

“It was a nice hotel in a great location. Bed was nice and big for us it has an ipod hook up/alarm clock. We walked around downtown because we parked our car in a garage that cost us a pretty penny. Then we got to the hotel and had to walk to another restaurant because they only had a bar near the hotel. The room was very small and hot. The shower was very different from we've seen it was nice. Overall it was a great stay we would stay there again if it was cheaper.”

• Location. Great spot to explore Boston. Good staff.
• The air conditioning of the room was terrible. Bad unit, hard to work.

“I'd say that, overall, my wife and I enjoyed at the hotel, primarily for the proximity to see all the sites around Boston. From the hotel we could walk anywhere or take the subway (3 blocks away). On the negative side, rooms were small and the air conditioning of the room was terrible. They seriously need to upgrade in this area. Still, we'd give it more pluses than minuses.”

• Amazing staff! Helpful, kind and a pleasure to deal with.
• The only thing that bugged me was the air conditioner malfunctioned it was way to hot and humid outside and if built up too much ice.

• Very good service, safe, great location - not luxurious but perfect for a weekend trip to Boston at a reasonable price.

• Good staff. Good location.
• Tiny, ancient bathroom. Small dreary room.

“We selected the hotel based on photos and "boutique" description. This has worked well for other cities - not this time. This hotel has not been sufficiently upgraded and the room was a disappointment. The bed, however, was very comfortable. The staff was great and tried to assist us in every way. The restaurant is lively and the sound carries to the rooms.”

• It was quaint and chic, and overall had a very good feel to it.
• It's in a quieter part of town, so there isn't much around at night, but there's plenty to do not too far away!

“This is a cute, little boutique hotel just in the historic South End of Boston. The staff is very friendly, and the rooms are cozy. The building's older, but not in a way that it's in bad shape. The room was very small, but when traveling alone, you don't need much space anyway. Direct TV and wireless internet are both available, and work fabulously. I really enjoyed my stay!”

• Best possible use of very small spaces, staff was amazing.
• Spaces were very small.

“The hotel could do more to market their awesome location, walking distance to renowned shopping, historic district, etc. Also, if they played up their own history of a converted Coast Guard housing people might not expect a normal sized hotel room. Price was acceptable however as they've made the absolute most of the space available and the decor is current, fun and colorful.”
