“The hotel stay was nice. Unfortunately the room key was difficult to work at best. The room view overlooked the back-side of a parking lot for public transportation. What really quite surprised me, though, was the $3.00 hotel inclusive charge per day on the bill. While the bill states this charge is not a tip or service charge as defined by Massachusetts service charge and tip statute, that's exactly what it is.”

“This was a nice hotel, staff friendly. I was quite surprised when I asked the concierge to recommend a good place to eat that she sent us past the 2 in house restaurants and down the street. Very surprised to receive a bill for hotel convenience charge. It may have only been $3 but there was no satisfactory reason given for being assessed the charge. For this reason I will not stay here again.”

“They accommodated us by giving us an adjoining room for our kids and a microwave. They gave the kids stuffed animals when we arrived and also gave us a Harbor view even though they were more expensive. A little walk to get to town, but not unpleasant. 7-11 and Dunkin Donuts across the street and very convenient.”

“I thought the location was excellent, easy to get to. The amenities were great and the staff was accommodating. Wish the breakfast could have been better as far as quality of the food, OJ $4.00 per glass seemed excessive but it was the best thing about the breakfast.”

“The location of the hotel is on the water and within an easy walk to Quincy Market and the North End where fine Italian dining can't be beat. It also has easy access to the Blue Line to go to Logan Airport.”

“Great hotel. Very clean and upscale. Location pretty far away from the excitement of the city, but very close to the subway, which is great. Would stay there again.”

“The comfort was great! Love the noon check out, I did not feel rushed to get up and get out. The umbrella being handy was a great touch of class. It’s the little things that made the difference.

“The hotel was a great place to stay because of the attractiveness of the building itself and the comfortable good size rooms and bathrooms. The only downfall is that you are not in walking distance to most tourist attractions in Boston.”

“Great business location, the bar was great and the lobby was attractive altho the flowers were tired. If the florist is going to have lots of little vases, make sure the flowers get changed more often. Not a family hotel as it is a drive to everything or an expensive cab ride.”

“It was fine. Had to pay extra for a fridge, bare basics, had to pay for internet, etc. I could order different kinds of pillows! A computer workstation with free internet and free wireless for my laptop. It had two flat screens TV, a couch, a robe, I can't say enough. It was magnificent.

“For business travelers to the world trade center, this hotel is wonderful. For leisure travelers, it was sort of tucked away from the downtown area, which made for some pricey cab fares.”
