• Convenient location.
• Poor housekeeping, poor management follow-up to problems, tiny room.

• Small rooms, no pool, expensive parking, mediocre beds.

“The hotel is very clean and in a great location. There was no pool, the TV set was cheap and the room very cramped/small. No WiFi access in the room.”

• Location was perfect for our needs that day.
• Bathroom not clean. Found St. Patrick's day decorations on floor from night before.

“The Bullfinch was a very nice hotel and I was able to sleep soundly. Either no one slept in adjacent rooms or walls thick. Location perfect for Boston Garden events and parking, while expensive even for Boston, was also close by. Bathroom had not been properly cleaned but overall room was nice.”

• The evening staff was very helpful in directing me to appropriate locations.
• The bathroom was a mess - poorly laid out and not user friendly.

“The Bullfinch hotel is located in an out of the way location that provided for quiet evenings sans big city noise. Check-in was fast and curious, but the night staff shown as knowledgeable and resourceful, assisting in getting me safely to where I could get food (their restaurant was closed due to private party) and a quiet drink. The room was small with typical inner city view, sealed windows so the only choices for air were heated or cooled. The room was very small, walked to the night stand. The bathroom was ill conceived and was not at all user friendly. The iron provided never truly heated up spitting out water that left marks on my shirt. Did not utilize their gym area but appreciated it was open 24 hours. Overall, not likely to return. Cities like Boston have too many other options to try.”

• Friendly staff.
• Extremely small hotel rooms!

“The room was incredibly small and the lack of closet was perplexing. However, each room is unique so others might be better. The room was well furnished however, and the place felt homey. The staff was friendly but not the most helpful.”

• Location is convenient for public transportation, food nearby.
• Staff is unresponsive and rude. They also seemed pretty uninformed about local info.

“Rooms are small, there is little space for luggage (no suitcase rack), the armoire is awkward, the bathroom is tiny (about the size of a cruise ship's). the hotel is new so it is clean and the housekeeping was excellent. they could use some maturity and experience in their staff.”

• It was tidy and in a good location.
• It was the smallest room I've ever been in, like a closet almost.

“The staff was nice. The location was good. But the one thing I will remember about the Bulfinch is the closet-like room. I would not recommend anyone stay there unless they are by themselves. My girlfriend and I were tripping over our suitcases just to get to the bathroom.

• The ladies at the front desk were exceptional. They took care of everything we need and went out of their way to help us getting around Boston.
• The room was small and the pillows were terrible. The elevator also took quite a long time. Needs a dresser in the room.

“Front desk personnel, exceptional. The rooms were small, but clean. They need better pillows, and also a dresser of some kind to put your clothers away. The TV stand had a couple of drawers, but not not enough for two people. It is more for the business traveler. The location is good, for walking and access to the Trains. Overall my experience was good.”

• Excellent location as Boston is a great walking city!
• Room was not very clean, however, when called desk, they immediately sent housekeeping.

“The bed and bedroom was too small for 2 people, but the manager gracefully changed us to a larger room without cost. A great gesture which she didn't have to do. 5 star for the hotel management.”
