• The staff was very friendly.

• Location.
• The public hot tub was very slimy with a green algae slippery growth on the bottom of floor.

“Hotel was fine other than the slime on the bottom of the hot tub. Simple solution of algae remover can cure this with a little scrub brush.”

• Near our key destination.
• Our view was of HVAC equipment.

• The rooms were nice, good location.
• Loud; no soundproofing, could hear everything in surrounding room and hall.

“Although the room was nice, it was very loud. We could hear the other room and especially hallway noise. Kept waking us up throughout the night. We could even hear the next room inflate their sleep number bed! (Fan noise). Although it was a nice place, I would not stay there again due to the noise. There are places just as nice within a few miles.”

• High quality hotel.
• Smell of chlorine from the indoor pool. In-room coffee was so-so.

“Wonderful roomy rooms. Bath robes available to hotel guest. Well decorated. Good room service. Wish they had a better brand of coffee in the room.”

• Rooms were quiet. I slept well. Pool was nice.
• My only concern was one out of the three desk clerks was less than nice. The other two were excellent.

“The hotel was clean and nice. The room was quiet and I slept well. The pool was a nice way to unwind from the day & wake up in the morning.”

• The value.

“Hard to find, extremely poor parking, room keys didn't work, cleaning staff woke us up at 8 am, balcony was so trashed they locked and jammed the door, the select comfort beds were 1st generation, with noisy pumps, the room was small, poorly ventilated and smelled. I won't return or recommend.”

“Was put in very small room - but was furnished well. Free internet, free parking. Expensive restaurant next door. Not a walking-friendly neighborhood, no sidewalks anywhere.”

“If this hotel had real beds it would have been the best hotel that I have stayed at in the last 6 months. But the air beds are horrible. I've had one at home and got rid of it.”

• Parking was not convenient and did not provide a sense of security.

• Hotel was very clean, good restaurant closely. Comfortable beds.
• Bathroom not arranged well, no grab bars, no countertop. No mirror near desk.

“This is an excellent hotel in an upscale area. Very clean and friendly employees. The bathroom could have been better arranged and made safer. It is a very large hotel and required a good bit of walking to reach the elevator. A good experience though.”

• It has a beautiful courtyard.
• The first room I had was very small.

“In past visits to this hotel, I had a large room with a balcony and I enjoyed my stay tremendously. This time I was given a small room and then requested and received a larger room where I could see the door (of my hotel room) from bed and I didn't like that. On the plus side, the staff remembers you and your preferences and they try hard to accommodate your room preferences. Of course, this isn't always possible. There is an excellent seafood restaurant at this hotel. However, don't order a Caesar salad from room service; it is practically inedible. Also, the breakfast potatoes from room service are the worst Ive ever had and the look of them is enough to make you lose your appetite. If you get a good room and avoid ordering the wrong foods from room service, this hotel is unbeatable. If you get a bad room, you'll wish you were somewhere else. If you get a larger bad room with a view of the court yard, it is okay and it beats the Marriott courtyard in Pontiac, the Marriott in Southfield, the Hilton in Southfield and the Hilton in Troy.”
