• Good location.
• Vomit in bed.

“Man at desk was on phone. Appeared to be talking to a friend. We had to wait for him to finish before he would check us in. Not very charming. Left luggage in room and went out to see city. Came back in evening. And turned one of the beds down and found old sheets on the bed, with the bedspread and blanket and sheets with vomit on them. Called desk. Someone came up from desk in an hour and changed the bed.”

• Friendly staff, great location.
• Breakfast room too small-could never get a seat so we didn't utilize free breakfast.

“Staffs were friendly, common areas were clean. Unfortunately the hallways smelled highly of cigarette smoke. The breakfast room was way too small, we could not find a seat so we could not utilize the free breakfast.”

• Very clean, very pleasant staff, good food, right place close-by for shopping. Very please.

• I loved the location. We were in Birch Run to shop and the hotel was located right across the street from the outlet mall. Awesome!
• I did not like the area where we ate breakfast. Breakfast was included with the room (great), but the area we ate in was too small and crowded.

• Indoor pool was VERY COLD, room was VERY small.

“Over all the hotel was ok, the indoor pool was freezing! The room was very small, but the hotel itself was clean, good location, and friendly staff.”

• The hotel was had a warm inviting lobby was nice and clean and located very near the outlet stores.
• The breakfast dinning area was too small for the number of people.

• Little or no wireless connection internet didn't work.

“The room was nice and comfortable but the wireless internet didn't seem to work. The signal kept cutting out, and I needed the web in my room for work. I called and was told the person at the desk knew nothing about the connection or how it worked. I'm a network engineer and it was important to have web access and one of the reasons I choose to stay.”

• Location-friendly staff.
• There were mechanical problems in the kitchen area for breakfast-staff said a breaker had blown and did not know how to fix it.

“The hotel is great-this was my second stay there. I travel with two teenagers and we made use of the pool and hot tub. The location is prime and I would stay there again.”

• There is nothing that we didnt like about this hotel.

• Elevator.
• Cleaning person took my head & shoulder shampoo, & conditioner the pool was too small only 4ft deep not enough room to swim before you hit bottom.

“I think the cleaning people should allow the reside to decide if the shampoo and conditioner are empty or not. didn't like not knowing there was county tax included above the price. Would like to be reimburse for head and shoulder ultimate shampoo (dark blue bottle).”

• The location was excellent and there was an elevator; the rooms were clean.
• 4 families to check in; 2 asked for early; did not get and all of us got the runaround.

“The hotel was nice, but the staff was unfriendly and did not seem to now what they should do when people came early. We knew we were too early but we were told we could not check in at all. The next family came and they were given cards, but no room # (they asked for early check in). The next family that came was allowed to check in so I asked to be checked in too, and she acted discussed and handed me the form. She said we all could check in around 1:30. It was 3:00+ before we got rooms. Just tell the truth right from the start--we would have been happy with that!”

• Location, cottage like feeling in lobby.
• Too hot, entire hotel was warm. Slept with windows open all night. Poor mattresses.

“Nice location, I liked the cottage-like atmosphere of the lobby. The temperature of the entire hotel was too hot. Had to keep our room windows open all night to keep comfortable. Mattresses not good, had poor sleep. Pool is small, but kids did enjoy it.”

• Staff were very courteous.
• Difficult to find using map directions. streets poorly marked.

“Pool and Jacuzzi were very family friendly. This was a very convenient location and allowed us to visit not only Birch Run mall area but Frankenmuth as well.”

• Close to the local attractions and shopping.
• The size of the swimming pool. It was to small.

“Overall it was a pleasant and friendly place to stay. The size of the swimming pool was not so enjoyable. Having anymore than 5 people would be to crowded. It is very close to lots of interesting places to visit and even more places to do some serious shopping.”
