• Smoking rooms right across non smoking rooms.

“Overall for the money a decent hotel, but would not recommend to someone who absolutely loathes the smoke smell. I could smell the smoke all night and I stayed in a non-smoking room. This was the only con about this hotel.”

• The staff was particularly helpful with any inquiry/request. It was clean, economical & great pool to relax.
• I wish breakfast would have lasted to 10 AM instead of 9:30 AM (but it was always plentiful and delicious - esp. fresh waffles).

“I would recommend this motel to friends and family. Clean, friendly, convenient location to Santa Fe, restaurants; bus line to city stops right outside the motel every 15 minutes.”

• Basically, cleaner then expected for this rate of hotel.
• Nothing I did not like based on rating of hotel.

“Hotel was clean, staff was nice, free breakfast was rather low scale, but filling and good for a quick bite. The one issue I had was we were gone all day and returned in the evening, maid service had not come by, and finally came by at about 630 p.m. Other then that I felt the hotel was reasonable for the price. We have done a lot of traveling, and for the price, this hotel was really good.”

• The breakfast was better than I anticipated. It was clean and spacious. Definitely worth the cost.
• I would have preferred queen size beds instead of full.

• The free breakfast was much better than I expected.
• The rooms were stark and bland, but not out of line for an "economy" choice.

“As one star hotels go, this one was clean and family friendly. The breakfast was a nice surprise, offering eggs, waffles and sausages as well as the usual cereal and toast selection. My 11 year old son loved it. I thought it was a good value for the price.”

• Darlene front desk lady was nice.
• It smelled bad, there was dirt and hair all over the bathroom, and key locked me out!

“The hotel was very smelly and the bathtub and sinks were full of hair. I did not use the tub due to this, and the room smelled bad on arrival. I would not stay here again; I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Front desk clerk was a nice lady, I felt bad for her having to run a grubby hotel like that.”

• Unfriendly front desk staff.

“The man at the front desk sent us to someone else room when we were going to our room, then he sent us to a dirty room, then he told us there was nothing he could do for us! We had to wait even though it was past the check in time on our confirmation paper. Later that evening when we asked for towels he had us come down to tell us they were not dry yet! Then he told us he would call our room when done and that didn't happen! The beds were also very uncomfortable and hard! There may be nicer people there that are just the only one we came into contact with every time.”
