“Room was not clean, stains on floor, ice machine was broken. Lobby/common areas 2 star, but location and room 1 star.”

“Good service, good room. The only problem was that the air conditioner did not work, so my room was baking hot.”

“This is a 2.5 star hotel on Carrillo's Road, about 2.5 miles from downtown Santa Fe. The hotel runs a shuttle to downtown three times a day, but the last returns at 5:00 pm and they only run during the week. A car is important. The rooms are nicely appointed and very clean. Ditto for the pool and Jacuzzi. Nice breakfast - but no protein. Very friendly and helpful staff. The suite just switches two queen beds into a king and a pull out love seat - not worth the upgrade, though it is nice to have the fridge and microwave. The Pantry (on the right side heading into town, just past hotel El Rey) is the best breakfast and lunch place in town. The locals make a line out the door. I would happily stay here again - good place for the price.”

“The room was run-down, the walls dirty. The counter itself was broken. The tub looked like it needed a good scrubbing. The King size bed was ok, but I slept on the pull-out sofa bed which was horrible. The bedding was put away in the dresser and when I took it out it had hairs on it and some set-in stains. This is a horrible hotel and I could never recommend it to anyone.”

“The front lobby area is very nice. The staff was informative and friendly. I always find it nice to have movie options on the television for the children after a long day of travel, and that was not available unfortunately. Other than that, it was nice.”

“The night man at the hotel called the police to remove myself, a veteran of the U.S. Army, and my wife from the hotel in the middle of the night on the first night we stayed of Memorial Day weekend, no less. The stay was, literally, a nightmare. Everyone, veterans especially, should avoid, and tell others to avoid, this horrible hotel.”

“This was a very inexpensive hotel, yet I still feel that I was overcharged. The toilet leaked and I was welcomed to a pool of water in the morning. Noise from the street was excessive; I was woken by passing trucks in the morning.”

“This hotel is on a main strip, close to Dennys and I-hop and lots of shopping. It is easy to get to Taos from here. The main downside of the room was that the stairs were far from the room, the bathroom looked like a monkey had remodeled it, the curtains were not capable of blocking the sunlight (easterly facing window) in the morning, and the room faced the road and was noisy! On the upside. The waffles were good. The lobby is nicely appointed and a good place to meet or chat. And the hot tub and pool have a wind guard around them, which helped in the late October weather.”

“Decent hotel but somehow a bit shabby. On a busy and somewhat tacky street; nearby residential and commercial zones not so nice. Staff fine, room quiet, all in all not a bad place, but definitely not 2.5 stars.”

“Restaurant's food exceeded our expectations but the atmosphere was lacking. The breakfast buffet was excellent. I believe this would be a great place for someone with kids looking for an economical place.”

“It would be more accurate to call the park inn a glorified motel, rather than a hotel. All room doors open to the outside air, as most street side motels do. The fact that there is a small pool (surrounded by security Plexiglas) and a reasonably nice lobby does not make up for the poor quality of the rooms and generally shabby grounds. Upon check in, I found a room with scratched up furniture, blank white walls, bed pillows that were travel size (about half a normal sized pillow, length and width), and a television that received only half the channels clearly. To be honest, the room was almost hard to believe.”
