• Everything was nice, no problems to report.

• One of the rooms was newly updated and very contemporary.
• The other room was not newly updated and looked pretty outdated.

“It was fine, the staff at the desk weren't that friendly. The location of the hotel was very convenient.”

• It was modern, clean, comfortable and quiet!
• If we'd been around during the day we would've heard construction on the building, apparently.

“Our stay was short, but all our time spent at the Millennium Hotel was perfectly pleasant! The facility is very modern and well kept and the beds are amazing (pillow top mattresses, I believe.).”

• Location to the convention center.
• No soap, no coffee replaced in room, no bathmat one day.

“Good for location, but room was small a overpriced for what it offered. Restaurant left us sitting for over an hour after we ordered before we got our food. This was in the evening and they were not busy.”

• Great location, friendly staff and clean and inviting.
• The charge for parking, and no free internet for hotel guests.

“It is a great hotel, we have stayed here numerous times and will stay again. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the location is fantastic. The parking charge for guests is a little high, and no free internet for guest is kind of bummer, but on the whole a great hotel.”

• The lobby was very attractive.
• More for traveling business people, not kids. It was also very hard to find.

“As a family traveling for medical purposes, this hotel was not really a fit for us. If I would've been alone with my husband on a leisure trip - it would've worked out fine.”

“After I checked in and saw the room, I asked for an upgrade. The staff was accommodating and I was very grateful. After all, I was staying for 3 nights. Could have tolerated it for one night but wanted something nicer if I was staying and paying for 3 nights.”

• Jackhammer at 8 am, doorknobs came off in my hand, sink didn't work.

“The hotel would have been fine if it hadn't been for the early morning construction - so loud that we couldn't talk to each other in the room. It would have been nice to know going in. The rooms were very small for two double beds. They also had some maintenance issues. The location, however, couldn't beat.”

• The staff in the restaurant and the check in people were great.
• Room service was too expensive for what you received.

“Very nice hotel in a great location to just walk and take it all in. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful.”

• The bed was very comfortable.
• The bathroom was not very attractive.

“This hotel was in a very convenient location and was much cheaper than any similar hotels in the area. It definitely was not upscale, but it was habitable and a good choice for people on a budget.”

• Bathroom was really small with poor lighting; conditioning shampoo.

• It was very romantic and the location perfect - which is why we chose this hotel.

“I was very upset with our stay, everything was perfect until check out. We were charged twice for parking. Then once we got home I realized I left my coat in the room and it took 4 phone calls, 3 messages in 3 days until someone finally called me back who barely spoke English. It was such a hassle when it was the hotels fault from the beginning! Not impressed by any means.”

• The restaurant and bar had great service, beautiful designing in the lobby.
• The room did not match the design of the lobby. By looking at the room you could tell how old the hotel was.

“The hotel was not easy to find. The employees were helpful and pleasant. The bar and restaurant was enjoyable. However, the room was very disappointing for what I paid. I will not pay the same price again to stay there.”

• Great location, nice pool/sauna area and great view.
• The room itself was not upscale, but moderate.

“The Millenium Hotel is great for business travel or travel with a partner if you're there to see the city, but has no special features for kids, except for a small pool. The location is in a great spot, right downtown and on Nicollet Avenue, which can take you by foot or bus to just about anywhere in the area. There are many great restaurants around, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the room is clean, but nothing out of the ordinary. Stay here if you're looking for location and comfort.”

• The room seemed cheap, the linens, furniture, etc. were tacky.

“The location of the Millenium is fantastic. The staff is friendly and helpful. However, the typical room is reminiscent of a Holiday Inn or some other lower-level chain. Quality linens, furniture, bathroom fixtures, etc. could definitely help the rooms. It seems like there isn't one consistent style to the hotel. Hire an interior decorator!”

• Clean, modern look, great beds, friendly helpful staff.
• Only complaint: furniture too big for the room. Hard to walk around it.

“This was a super-great deal for me, my mother, and sister, all of whom live in different states. We gathered to celebrate Mother's 95th birthday by seeing the sights in the Twin Cities. Could not have had a better stay at the Millennium. It is well-run, sparkling with upscale decor, very clean and comfortable. Parking was not free, but right next to hotel and no need to go outside in the weather. We'll definitely be back for her 100th.”

“The Millennium is located a short distance from many restaurants, Orchestra Hall and Downtown. The staff is efficient and helpful. Parking is very convenient. The hotel's restaurant is overpriced and not very good. Try Vincent's down the street.”
