• Room service was good.
• The width of the bathroom doors do not allow a wheelchair to go through them.

“It's excellent for business travelers or for people who are attending events in the Downtown Minneapolis area, such as concerts or major sporting events. I would probably stay at this hotel again in the future.”

• It was clean and conveniently located.
• Stairways were not adequately marked. It would have been nice to have coffee available in the lobby.

“It met our expectations. The lobby was attractive. I enjoyed the center courtyard.”

• Extra pillows.
• Carpet in hallway was ratty.

“It is about what you would expect for a Sheraton on the Interstate. They are hurting because of the bridge collapse and it is hard to get to them. But we had a group of people and they treated us great.”

• Good location short trip to either Downtown.
• No shuttle service on weekends.

“This hotel is a good place to stay. It's just a short trip to Downtown Minneapolis or St. Paul right off the highway. I would recommend.”

• The pictures look nice.
• The hallways were dark and dingy. There were room service trays left outside someone's room from 6 pm till the next day when we checked out at 11 am.

“I would never stay here again, unless extremely desperate. Lumpy pillows. Dark hallways.”

• Unknowledgeable staff but friendly.

“Shuttle did not take me where I wanted to go. Hotel rated about 1 1/2 stars higher than it should be. Needs major makeover. Ran out of coffee! Unknowledgeable staff about hotel and local area. Must have high turn over of staff. All money must have been put in hotel lobby, because that is excellent. Too bad rest of hotel not up to that standard.”

• I had a place to sleep.
• Built in '79 so it had an old feel. Pool area was aged.

“AC fan did not work in room. Halls were rundown looking. Pool/hot tub area showed their age. Nice patio area outside pool with workout center. Neat bar downstairs. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was not really by restaurants or hang-outs. More of an industrial area.”

• It had a pool and the staff was friendly.
• Carpeting needs to be replaced.

“Lobby was beautiful. The rooms were getting old paint chipping, a few cob webs. The tub floor was mold damaged. The carpet was pretty bad. The beds were very comfy plenty of pillows the pool was nice and clean. It was quiet in the hotel so it was a nice stay and I would stay again and recommend it.”

• The staff at the desk at check in was extremely helpful - Great help.
• The restaurant did not serve fresh breakfast items = carpet needed replacing in common areas.

“The room itself was great. Staff at check in and check out was great and 5 star helpful. Location was also great. Hallways and elevator carpets were worn and musty odor. Breakfast fruit had sat in fridge overnight (at least 1 day) and yoghurt was past due by 5 days.”

• The hotel staff was very helpful and they had a FREE shuttle to the Metrodome.
• Very disappointed in the location.

“The hotel was fine for the price. It was about a 10-15 minute drive there. $25 cab ride back to the hotel from Downtown Minneapolis. Very disappointed in that aspect. The free shuttle to the game was a great perk. I would not stay here again due to location. If it was Downtown or closer to the Metrodome I would definitely reccommend it.”

• Clean, quiet, conveniently located, good for the money, nice pool.
• No place to get good coffee.

“We stay at this hotel whenever we are visiting the Twin Cities because it has clean spacious rooms with internet access, a nice pool, free parking, friendly and helpful service, and a convenience store directly across the street from its main entrance. It is conveniently located to the University of Minnesota campus and for traveling to both downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul. Finally, it has plenty of luggage carts for transporting things from car to room and back to car.”

• Very easy to access, comfortable bed, sound-proof room.
• Carpet needs replacing or rest retched, looks very old. restaurant very slow.

“All in all it was a nice place to stay. It is conveniently located and seems like a safe part of town. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Also, the rooms are virtually sound-proof.”

• The hotel is close to the Dome and we used the shuttle service.
• A hand towel had makeup on it. Directions to the hotel are not well marked.

“The hotel is in a good location for the ballpark and shopping. We used the shuttle, pool and lounge. Overall, we had a good stay. We will use this hotel again.”
