“This hotel was easy to find with nice, clean rooms. Also, the restaurant had excellent food. The negative is that they should have had more staff on duty since the hotel was full. I would stay here again.”

  • Free shuttle to metrodome.
  • The run around we got from staff telling us the shuttle was full and we would have to pay for a taxi. Then there was plenty room.

“Okay, nothing special but for the price we paid great. The bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen in a hotel. You could barely close the door to get around to the shower/tub! Carpet in hallway to pool was very loose and bumps were all over making it very easy to trip. I was glad I didn't have extremely small children.”

    not working, air conditioner did not work.

“Terrible it is, even worse than the last time we were there. 3 different names in 2 years tells you a lot. since you cannot see the location and they have changed their name so often I have been stuck with this hotel 3 times. No air conditioning that worked, TV did not work properly they finally came to fix it at 9pm. restaurant way over price.”

  • Convenient location. The extra large pillows.
  • Worn and rippling carpet in hallway.

“I would not recommend this hotel. Clearly it was designed as a large business/conference hotel. But it is long past its prime and badly in need of refurbishing.”

  • The sink was broken in room, so water dripped onto the floor.

  • Spacious room with all the amenities, clean, hotel restaurant and lounge.
  • Did not have wireless internet.

“The Hotel has spacious rooms that are clean and have all the amenities you need. It had a restaurant and lounge that I did not use but looked nice. Hotel is in a decent location with easy access to the interstate and about 4 miles north of the University of MN campus.”

  • They let us stay at the pool and hot tub way past closing.
  • Room could have used more interior decor.

“In general staff was really good, called a cab for us and let us us pool and hot tub past closing. Lobby had a fire place and was decorated nicely. Overall had a nice stay.”

  • For an older hotel it was well maintained and very clean.
  • It was in the middle of nowhere. I needed to take a cab to get anywhere.

  • The staff was absolutely incredible. I travel frequently and this hotel had the best service I have ever had.

“The front desk staff was so helpful. They selected a great room for us. The restaurant was reasonably priced and very good. Plus the staff was so friendly. We will definitely go back.”

  • There was candy at the front desk.
  • It was definitely not a hotel I would stay at again.

“We arrived at the hotel around 4 pm and they said there were not any rooms available at that time. So we left and came back later. When we arrived back they said all there were king rooms. So we took one of those. After about 10 minutes of waiting they finally said there was a room with 2 double beds. We went to the room and there was a tarp laid down all over the floor because there were repairing a hole in the wall. We went back to the front desk and they gave us another room with 2 double beds. When we got to the room, there was only 1. The clerk at the front desk definitely was in over his head. The hotel was not well kept. The walls were peeling and the carpet was coming up. It was a place I would definitely not stay at again or recommend to other visitors. Sorry”

  • Room was very comfortable, with good bedding.
  • Location wasn't as convenient to downtown as I would have liked.

“A very nice, comfortable hotel with all of the amenities. Clean room and nice common spaces. Convenient to restaurants and other shopping. Not as close to downtown as hoped, but still a short (less than 5 mile) drive.”

  • Employees pleasant and helpful.
  • Room cleaned at 7:30pm when I left at 4am. @ hospital all day to wait for room on my return.

“This hotel is in transition. The staff is friendly. Restaurant is very good. Bed is comfortable. Carpet need to be changed throughout...the creases are a hazard. The pool, Jacuzzi and exercise room are well maintained. I wanted to be near the Hennepin County Medical Center and this was not that close. Next time I would try a downtown location.”

  • The person working the front desk was very nice.
  • The hotel room was old and dirty with stains on the walls and curtains.

“This hotel was horrible. The room was filthy with stains on the walls and curtains. I called down to the front desk and complained. They gave me a different room, but it was the same. The bathtub was so dirty I wore sandals to take a shower. Sheraton should be embarrassed to have their name on this hotel. I have stayed in nicer Motel 6's than this.”

  • Room was clean and well maintained.
  • Van service was terrible.

“Second time at this hotel and not as good as the first. Service was very spotty. Restaurant staff and one van driver was excellent, two van drivers and maid service were poor. My room was fine, my co-workers room needed maintenance. Not good if this is a trend.
