• Safe parking and great location. Close to great bars and places to eat. Easy access to Major roads and highways, not too confusing.
• There were some shady looking people that would hang out on the street in front of the hotel. Without my husband I might have felt uncomfortable.

“Nice location and quiet. We didn't have to spend a ton on cabs because every place we wanted to go was within walking distance. Parking spaces were very small but it was a safe enough area. I would stay here again.”

• Good location, attractive rooms and great restaurant.
• No pool.

“Great location, rooms and overall a good feeling about this hotel. The onsite restaurant is first class as all of our meals (breakfast and dinner) we some of the best foods we have ever tasted. Highly recommended as we plan on going back.”

• This was a beautiful hotel with a great location and reasonable priced parking.
• I liked everything!

• Great location, very comfortable.
• Charged $230 extra as they said we smoked in the room. It did not happen.

“We had a wonderful experience except for the $230 extra charge without warning and the literal accusation of the agent that we smoked in the room. She said that housekeeping does not have any additional evidence because some time had passed. She assured me that they do not add that charge without reason, basically saying that I was lying. My husband and I are lifelong non-smokers and the staff must have confused the room numbers. They did refund the money, but it was a disappointing end to a nice experience.”

• Luxury bedding and comfortable (comfort control) bed.
• Location was a bit overwhelming this is our first stay in downtown Minneapolis.

• The room was comfortable and the bathroom spacious.
• No swimming pool. The walls were thin. Could hear next door to everything.

• The sleep number bed.
• Parking was quite inconvenient.

“Hotel staff was well trained and very helpful upon check in, which was quick and to the point. All additional charges applicable were well explained. Parking was inconvenient and cumbersome.”

• Really plush, good Wi-Fi, friendly staff, nice bar.
• Ramp is really narrow for big cars, but had plenty of spaces.

• Noisy elevators next to guest rooms. There should be some noise reduction material used here.

• Nice atmosphere, location was great for doing things in the downtown area.
• The rooms were very nice, but you could hear everything. Traffic outside, neighbor flushing toilet or using shower and people talking in hallways.

“Overall the hotel was very nice. It's not really a place for children, but for business it's great or for a husband/wife outing. I used the weight room which was nice. It also had a nice Jacuzzi tub and sauna area. Wasn't too pleased with the breakfast menu downstairs, but Im probably a picky eater anyway. I would stay here again.”

• Very lovely hotel, excellent restaurant.
• There was no window looking outside in the room the only window faced indoors felt closed in.

“The hotel was lovely, excellent restaurant with wonderful staff. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The one thing I would highly recommend is that any patron of this hotel specifies you want a room with an outdoor view. The room we had faced indoors and we ended up feeling very closed in.”

• Evening shift was not friendly.

“Great hotel as far as location, cleanliness and safety. Wonderful service from concierge. Night staff wasn't very friendly, but I did travel with a group of 8 and we were reminiscing.”

• There is nothing that I did not like about this hotel.

• Excellent location with clean nice rooms and very good service.
• Cleaning staff came by at 7:30 in the morning and the dial your comfort beds did not seem to work very well.

“Very well located in downtown Minneapolis with nice clean rooms friendly and helpful staff (but then everyone in Minnesota is friendly and helpful). Our room came with two double beds (we had asked for one king or queen size bed). These beds were dialing your firmness beds; however they didnt seem to work very well. One had to make very large changes in the comfort level to see any effect. One had to always put the do not disturb notice on the door or they might come by at 7:30 to clean the rooms. Otherwise they were certainly worth the money and we would go there again.”

• Excellent location in downtown Minneapolis. Access to everything!
• They weren't able to guarantee me a non-smoking double bed room when I called in. And we ended up with a smoking room.

“Hotel location and parking were great. Sleep number beds are an excellent addition to the rooms. The only disappointment was being put in a smoking room. The staff was very friend and offered to do what they could to rid the room of any smoke smell that it had.”

• TV didn't work well. Sleep number bed malfunctioned.

“Convenient location in downtown Mpls near light rail line, library, stone arch bridge. Fairly good restaurant in hotel. Nice and helpful concierge, wait and bell staff. Good parking garage with reasonable daily rate.”

• Great location, very clean, non-smoking floor, nice restaurant extremely friendly and helpful staff.
• The room we ended up getting was loud at night due to ability to hear movement of elevator.

“All in all the Radisson Plaza is a very nice stay due to it's convenience to other locations in downtown Minneapolis. The hotel itself was very clean; nice with a good restaurant adjacent but the place is not really family or little kid friendly. There is no pool, arcade or game area for children (but there is a Game works right up the street) Being that we went with the intention of going elsewhere for entertainment (Twins games, Target Center, Game works) so I didn't have to worry about other entertainment issues. Hotel is approximately 15 minute ride from Mall of America and Airport.”

“For business or leisure the location of the hotel couldn't be better. Close to restaurants, movies, and public transportation. Parking is convenient. Bathrooms are large and have been updated. Excellent staff. Good value.”
