• Comfortable bed, heat lamp in bathroom, 2 sink design was nice (even though not needed on this trip).
• Rom was poorly lit; exercise equipment was minimal and not all properly functioning.

“I'd certainly recommend this hotel. It was nicely decorated and well designed (except for the room lighting). The pool & hot tub looked inviting, even though I was too busy with family to use it. Staff members were very helpful.”

“Great family place. Relatives visited and used the pool. Pool was open until 1am with no problems. Pizza was great at the hotel.”

• The comfort of the beds and the great breakfast.
• The cleanliness of the bathroom.

“I have stayed at this hotel on several occasion, although I would have liked a fridge and micro-wave. The only complaint I have is the bathroom wasn't cleaned to well. I'm an assist. hotel manager at another facility and my thing is a clean bathroom and kitchen.”

• Adjacent restaurant, microwave, refrigerator, bedding.
• Poor furniture layout, poor task lighting.

“This is a rather worn-out place that needs a furniture upgrade to meet modern tech needs. The adjacent restaurant is adequate which is good because there is nothing else nearby.”

“We were disappointed by this hotel, which is unusual. We love country inn's, however this was an old hotel turned into a country inn, and it was not worth staying at. Had to switch room when we got there, due to our door being open, the beds not made very well, and the two screen doors to the patio unlocked. We were moved to the room next door, and about midnight, I thought someone was breaking into our room, it was the room we were originally in, the screen doors were laying on the ground along with beer bottles everywhere. Did not sleep a wink.”

• Good location.
• Noisy and not real clean.

“Adequate for what we needed, a one night stay. The hallways needed vacuuming and our room had blankets that had fingernail polish spilled on them. You could hear the noise from the rooms below through the vents and this went on after 11 at night.”

“The hotel was near the freeway allowing easy access at a convenient location for my travel needs. The hotel staff was friendly and quick to respond to any questions I had. This hotel was a good value for the price charged.”

• Saturday night there was a church group of noisy teenagers.

• It was clean and the view was nice. It was also very quiet and we just loved the breakfast.
• Carpeting could be updated.

“Would definitely love to stay there again. The check out time of noon is wonderful for those of us who like to sleep in. It also has the best breakfast we have ever had in a hotel.”

“The access through door "c" was by a garbage (green mill) carpet in the entry hall was so dirty the pattern could not be seen.”

• The Continental breakfast was the best we've had at a hotel of this level.
• The building itself is a bit older and some repairs were being done during our stay.

“Right off the highway, easily accessible, with a very good full continental breakfast. Not the most eloquent hotel, but very satisfactory for anyone staying on the east side of the Twin Cities.”

• Beautiful pool area and friendly staff.
• Carpet had a huge stain right in front of the little refrigerator.

“This hotel was conveniently located. Staff was friendly. Room was adequately clean and bright, except that carpet had a huge stain as we walked in. The bed was comfy and seemed newer. Beautiful pool area. Breakfast was free and "make your own Belgium waffles" were quite good. They also had scrambled eggs. The sausage, which was provided only on weekdays, was not good anyway. Overall, we had a good stay and would love to get this hotel again.”
