• Location close to the Plaza and reasonable price.
• Checking in front-desk personnel did not give good directions about how to get to my room from the parking garage. Room was just okay.

“For the money and location, hotel met expectations. Safe and secure underground parking. Front desk personnel could have been friendlier and given better instructions on where my room was when checking in. Room was okay, but carpet had a big water stain on it. Free breakfast coupons were a pleasant surprise as well as free happy hour drinks. Overall, hotel was what I expected it to be and I would probably stay there again.”

• The morning desk clerk was very friendly.
• The fitness room was in a state of disrepair with most of the machines having something wrong with it and the
  TV was not working.

• It had a good location in the city.
• Dirty room, temperature out of control in the room.

“Only advantage of the hotel was its location. When I arrived the room was dirty. Floors had not been cleaned, bed had hair on it. The room was also extremely hot. Temperature control in the room did not work. After complaining to the staff their only solution was to offer a fan. Hotel staff was quite rude in general.”

• Shower head was about the same height as I was.

“Overall, the hotel was fine for the one night I stayed. If one was to stay over 2 nights I think other hotels may be better. Again, if I had stayed more, it would have been something I would have looked for. The staff was nice, and I had no problem there. Check in was at 3pm and I wished it would have been earlier. The rooms were decent, and my only two or so complaints were that the noise was pretty loud and you could hear quite a bit. I guess paper thin wall so to speak. Their hotel book says air ducts cause the noise. If you are taller than 5'5 the shower will cause you problems. I was just able to stand under the shower head. This put it at head level. If you were 6' or more, you would have stood over the shower head and would have had to duck to wash your hair. So if you are a taller person, be aware that the shower is short and the shower head is shorter. The only other complaint would have been the sink because the water drained poorly. It was fine if you barely ran water, but dont try and run it all the way or it wont drain too quickly. Overall for what I did it was fine and it saved me parking fees, which I guess made up for a few things. Not every place you visit will be like this, but the hotels surrounding where I was, charged per night.”

• Location and price were great!
• Air conditioner did not work.

“Everything was fine except for the air conditioner not working. They told us it was because of the humidity and gave us a box fan. It was tolerable but definitely not comfortable. The best thing about this hotel is location.”

• It was very close to the plaza.
• Parking.

“This place is good and bad. It has a great location. It is fairly cheap. However, parking is horrible, the staff was occasionally rude, the pool didn't open on time, they didn't offer a free continental breakfast, and they didn't offer the opportunity to have breakfast in my room. They also told me that I would have two beds in my room, and I only had one. No minifridge, either. It was cheap, but not cheap enough that I expected bad service and/or accommodations.”

• Outdoor pool was clean, open and quiet.
• Wish there would have been a complimentary breakfast.

“Met our expectations. Great location. Good pool. Not very good communication with maid staff. We had arranged for a late check out, but maids still knocked on the door at 8:30 am.”

• The hotel was located close to many local attractions, easy to get to & from.
• The hotel bar & restaurant closed very early for a Sat night (10 pm).

“We traveled to KC because our girls were flying to New Mexico to spend some time with their grandparents. It was a late flight, so we decided to make a weekend of it. Our room was on the first floor near the vending area. The room looked clean, but felt more cramped due to the low ceiling. There were some water spots on the ceiling that didn't get painted. The staff was friendly, however I was surprised that the cleaning staff started before 8 AM on Sunday morning. All told, it was an adequate hotel for an overnight visit, as long as you are not planning to do much at the hotel other than sleep.”

• The free shuttle was awesome!
• They allow dogs - they didn't keep me awake, though.

“This hotel was perfect for our needs. I was traveling with a friend for some much needed girl time. The shuttle was very convenient but the hotel is also close enough to walk anywhere in the plaza. Great location, friendly staff. I would totally recommend this hotel and would visit it again.”

• The entire staff are very friendly and do an excellent job.
• A little difficult to find your way around to some areas.

“Very good location within walking distance of many attractions and the Plaza district. The staff at the hotel are excellent, everyone!”

• The location to the Plaza was perfect.
• The rooms seemed humid and moist not well ventilated.

“Overall, the hotel was a good hotel for one night, if I were to stay two or three nights, I would not recommend this hotel. The rooms were clean but they seemed stuffy, almost as though there was a lack of ventilation.”
