“This Super 8 has an interesting business model. The continental breakfast is pretty much a joke. The area consists of a table and 4 chairs. Some rooms have been updated with new carpet, but the rest of the room still has some original pieces from its origin, 1996. I have never seen towels so old and worn in all my travels. Felt like you were drying off with sandpaper. The wall heater/AC was pretty noisy, so if you get too hot or cold, be prepared for it running all night. When I checked out, same lady who checked me in, must live on site, didn't bother asking about my stay. And the pillows were awful!”

“Avoid this hotel. My 'confirmed' reservations were not there when I check in and I had to be put into to a smoking room (Im a non smoker). The "super start continental breakfast consisted of a cold pot of coffee, a warm jug of milk, a toaster, a loaf of bread and a plate of frozen butter. The "security" door in the front of the hotel had a piece of duct tape over the lock, thus disabling the security of the hotel 24/7. The hot tub was lukewarm at best and the entire facility had a very odd smell to it.”

“The owner of this hotel was very kind. Could have not asked for a friendlier person. The hotel was very clean. One of the other workers misplaces our reservation. So the owner upgraded up to a suit at no cost. The owner went out of her way to make you were given a nice stay. Our reservation was then found. The next night we had to go into a regular room because the suit was booked. The women who took our reservation put us down for a smoking room, when we requested non smoking. We arrived in the smoking room. The stench of the smoke was so bad we could not breathe. The owner did give us air freshener and we opened the window. The smell made us cough, we were unable to sleep. I use to smoke two packs a day seven years ago and I had never smelt smoke stench like this before. The only room left was another suit, so I told the owner I would pay whatever I had to pay, just to get out of that smoking room. This was around one in the morning. We tried sleeping in it and could not. We paid twenty dollars to move to the suit, it was a pain moving all our things. But in the end it was so refreshing to go into a room in which there was no smell of smoke. All and all the owner is wonderful. She might want to think about the staff she hires. We were in a snow storm and I called the owner to tell her we were running late due to the weather. She thanked me for calling because she was worried about us. She is such a sweet lady.”

“They do not have a decent check in area and the doors on the ends of the motel were locked. We had to carry luggage all the way through the motel to reach our room by the locked exit door. That bothered me a lot. Otherwise the stay was fine.” Amenities at Super 8 Motel-Buffalo, Buffalo
